Bosphorus is incredible. I had the Iskender Kebab, and it was delicious. The tomato sauce was incredibly rich, smooth, sweet and went perfectly with the yogurt on the meat. The portion was the perfect size for me to leave full and happy. We also ordered a chicken gyro that was equally as tasty and a large serving as well.

Ordered takeout from here and was very disappointed. The falafel wrap was dry; no hummus or tahini. There was some yogurt dressing but I think that was meant for the side salad. Overall, wouldn't go back.

So good I could cry. Must try the orange tea and the Turkish coffee. I just ate the Iskender Kebab, and a plate of dolmas. I find my belly satisfied and a portion of my faith in humanity restored. A truly wonderful little hole-in-the-wall where you can get an authentic taste of the Mediterranean.
