This establishment uses illustrations depicting happy pigs on its buildings and marketing materials. Prove to me these pigs are happy and I will remove this review. It’s sickening to see these illustrations on your building knowing very well the animals you serve live a perpetual system of torment and misery. We are what we eat and the more suffering we cause the more suffering we will endure. Society will never be ok until we understand this. Love you though hope y’all become enlightened before it’s too late and we collapse the eco system and life as we know it :(
Remove those illustrations from your branding and add vegan options to your menu… I will remove review if I see this happen.

I lived near this place for many years, but I only ate there once because there’s virtually nothing on the menu for vegans, so I had no reason to return. Today, I had to go to Englewood, so I thought I would try again. Unfortunately, there’s still really nothing there for vegans.
Moreover, I sat on the patio last time, so either I didn’t notice the obscene amount of televisions in the place, or they added them after my visit, which is too bad because the space is cute other than that (I’ve never seen that many TV’s outside of a sports bar. It felt like I was eating in Best Buy.)
The service was solid and friendly, and the chips and salsa were decent, albeit not memorable (the only thing I could eat without asking the kitchen to withhold almost everything from the few vegetarian selections.)
I likely won’t return unless I need to watch a massive television a few feet from my face. However, I’m pretty sure that I’m not their target audience, which is just fine for the both of us.

Great food all around and drinks! If you like mustard and Serrano honey peppers a must try is their funky chicken! I could eat a dozen of them. Such a unique flavor combo.

Edit in response to owners comments: I was referring to the location off of Downing in Englewood, not olde town arvada. I have never been to olde town arvada. The parking lot at the location off of Downing fills up very fast and there have been many times I have gone there and there was nowhere to park.
Fantastic tacos. I love the al pastor tacos. These are actually original and unique craft tacos, not just your classic boring old Mexican tacos. They use quality ingredients. They also have really good margaritas, I liked the aloe vera margarita. Highly recommend this place, the only issue would be that their parking is a nightmare when they are busy (and they are usually always pretty busy).

We love Cochino Taco and visit 1–3 times a week — so choosing it for our wedding reception felt natural, and it could not have been more perfect. From Sean’s warm leadership to every staff member’s thoughtful attention, the team handled every detail with professionalism and heart. The food is consistently outstanding — vibrant flavors, beautiful presentation, and dishes our guests are still raving about. The atmosphere is lively yet intimate, and the staff made the evening flow effortlessly. If you want exceptional food and service that feels like family, book Cochino Taco — we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate.

Great place, especially during happy hour! Careful with the spicy margaritas, they can be pretty spicy!

Friendly staff, pretty quick service. Tried the queso appetizer which was good, nothing amazing, but was fine. Ordered the birria taco and al pastor. They were flavorful but a bit too wet. The meat had a ton of juice in it still, which isn't necessarily bad, but since it's a single corn tortilla, once you take a bit a ton of moisture pours out and the tortillas start falling apart. Would have preferred they drained the meat a bit before putting on the tortillas (if that makes sense). The house marg was fine, pretty standard. Overall not a bad spot, but nothing amazing to go out of your way for either. Parking can be a little challenging in the evening, might need to park a block down the street.

I love it here. Gabby, Lisa, Joel and Dayna are the best. They always give me the best served cold cans of Modelo. It never disappoints. I highly recommend the wings here, but everything on the menu is great.

I feel we may have had new staff and servers this time at Cochino Taco, as there were mistakes that I don't remember from our first visit. Spilling water on me and then not cleaning it up from the menu and table is pretty bad, though. I feel the flavors and textures were all over the place too. The standard beef taco was very bland, not even meeting expectations found in a fast food order. The veggie taco was extremely salty, and the more interesting sounding items on the menu (la lengua, pork ears, etc.) also had a lack of flavor that could have lended to the cultural uniqueness of the dishes. The tongue was nicely tender and the freshly crisped shells we delightful. Attention was paid to presentation, and that was another highlight for us.

Solid choice for some affordable TexMexy grub.
It's nowhere near authentic Mexican, more like an elevated Taco Bell, but bomb nonetheless.
The micheladas are awesome though. And the happy hour menu is one of the biggest bangs for your buck in Denver.
Good service too, family friendly, but can get really busy on the weekends.

This place was unfortunately disappointing. My main gripe is that the service was VERY slow, I'm talking 20 to 40 minutes between visits from the server. We were there for an hour and 20 minutes and we didn't get food till the 40 minutes mark. It was just me and my girlfriend and we only got 4 tacos between the two of us. I would be understanding if the restaurant was packed, but there was only 8 parties in the whole place and there was 4 servers, every time I would look around for our waiter they were just standing around. Our tacos got to our table mostly cold, the al pastor was flavorful but the meat was dry and tough, the pork belly was basically flavorless, cold, and tough. The carnitas we're great though, which is the only reason they are getting a two star instead of one. The atmosphere is great I will say, clean facilities and a very nice vibe to the place. Prices are mostly reasonable, but after being there for an hour and 20 minutes and still leaving hungry and unsatisfied I don't think I will be back.
