Last nights dinner still resonates with me, for all the wrong reasons. We've been to Gallo many times over the years, last nights dinner from our group consisted of remarks like: "I wonder if they forgot about us.", "Did you order chicken, where is it?", "These Knives SUCK, they make sharper letter openers." and "Wow, The pasta actually tastes better when its hot."Our table sat waiting for drinks and introduction for over 10 minutes, by the time we finally got attention we order everything at once. Food did come out relatively quickly, which was nice however temperature was a major concern for food safety reasons let alone taste and constancy. The portion sizes have gotten extremely small, to the point we asked the server why a $26+ entree had less then 4oz of chicken. When we asked the server acknowledged this is now standard practice here and said the owner/manager wasn't in and would appreciate us giving them the feedback directly as they're words fall on deaf ears. The server was only able to offer us additional pasta at no additional charge, which came out hot, confusing us on why the temperature of our entrees were cold. Pasta is cheep why is the restaurant so stingy on portion sizes especially with proteins. Also if the owner ever reads this or responds, REPLACE YOUR KNIVES, they do not cut. Gallo's Restaurant tends towards the noisy side as there are no soft surfaces to absorb sound. Price per person with tax and tip is easily above $40/person without alcohol or soft drinks.TLDR: Expensive, Poor Value, Cold Food, & Noisy. Unlikely to visit again anytime soon.

This is one of the worst Italian restaurants. The service is terrible. I will never go there again after giving it three tries!!

We were here last night 4/19. It was very busy but that’s no excuse to serve cold food and forget the soup that we ordered. We ordered soup, it never came, the ravioli with shrimp- there was no shrimp and it was cold, and the arancini which was also cold and came out with the ravioli. When we sent both back the ravioli was clearly reheated in the microwave. When you pay over 100$ for dinner you expect better. We will not be back.

Please visit this beautiful and delicious Italian restaurant soon! The atmosphere is warm and very inviting. Ask if Linda is waiting tables. She is delightful and has a thousand watt smile. The menu is diverse and you have a fantastic choice of perfectly cooked pasta and traditional Italian dishes. If you need a hostess gift, pick up a bottle of limoncello, cookies or a bottle of their house made pasta sauce. The baked items will make you smile.

Every restaurant has their own specialties. Some places have better pizza. Some better pasta dishes. Some specialize in pastry. Gallo seems to check all the boxes without compromising the flavor or soul of any of them! The service was excellent. The gentleman waiting on us was fantastic at checking in, being personable and honest about the food, and quick to bounce between customers and the busy call lines. We kept it simple. Came in to try for the first time as a little celebration, right when they opened for lunch. Ordered a cherry Italian soda with all the frills, some calamari, some garlic cheese bread, and a plate of chicken alfredo to share.Just saying now, the tomato sauce base used here is a homemade blend, and big home-canned mason jars of the stuff can be seen being sold at the bakery display. It's not quite like other tomato sauces with an intense acidic kick (which, I will admit, is great when highlighted nicely). It was sweeter, highlighting the fruitiness of the tomatoes and tasted a bit fresher as compared to, say, a long-cook sauce with tomato pastes. It was a refreshing change of pace from other ubiquitous Italian American food in the area, and a highlight of the regional variance we'd expect from the Sicilian head chef and his family. The calamari was crunchy and fresh, the ciabatta of the garlic cheese bread was oh so soft, and the alfredo was perfectly balanced. Not too heavy, with none of the extra thickness that a lot of American sauces tend to have. Also not too loose, and perfectly coating the perfectly tender fettuccine. The bakery though... Coming in before noon showed us the trays of freshly prepared treats being shuttled from back to front of house. We had to grab plenty to go... And then circle back again to grab more cookies a few minutes later. The head chef, the absolute sweetest man, went above and beyond for a request I had for some cannolis to go... A subtle cinnamon note to the cream made these cannolis to remember. Certainly the best in Colorado by far. And the vanilla lobster tails.... that was probably one of, if not the best lobster tail I've had in my life. One last note... The chef loves playing with new specials and new desserts. Rotating limited treats and seasonal bites. Makes it even more enticing hearing from the waiter what the chef has done in just the past few months...We will definitely be coming back, and making this our go-to Italian restaurant. For the food, for the staff, and for the love of the craft felt in each and every bite.Parking: Plenty of handicap-acccessible spots available behind the building, not on the main Broadway road.
