I want to start off by saying I have been coming to hacienda for as long of my life as I can remember. About 15 years? I used to LOVE this place but it has changed ALLOT unfortunately. A lot of locations shut down for some reason which I get lowering costs. But NOT when it comes to the food. I have never been more disappointed in my visit to Hacienda than this last time. For starters the large queso blanco was the size of a small salsa bowl. And it had no flavor whatsoever to the point I added salsa to it. Not what I’m used as it used to be my favorite at the Colorado Blvd location. Now onto the bean burrito, raw onions on top? Seriously. Again the first time that’s happened. Used to come with beans and rice on the side. But now just rice and a mini side salad. I will never come back here. It has gone from one of my favorites for 15 years to blacklisted.I want to end this review with how awesome our server was. He was very personable and such a good server! We sat in the bar area and he had a lot of tables but kept everything straight. He said he’s received a lot of other poor complaints on the quality of food due to corporate.Hacienda Corporate: Please listen to your customers. I know many other restaurants that will bring in valued customers to try food and give feedback. Maybe an option to look into!

Christine was a fantastic waitress. She is on top of her game, very attentive, and very friendly. The habanero honey bacon wrapped shrimp was fantastic. I loved the chili rillenos, and my husband had an amazing smothered burrito. Excellent Bloody Mary! You have got to try the church's for dessert. We had a great date night and will be back!

After covid , we visited and were disappointed with the food. But we recently had dinner there and were happy that the food quality and taste had greatly improved. Love their salsas. The only thing that did disappoint was the queso. I wasn't impressed.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Used to be my favorite restaurant, not anymore. Those that are saying this is delicious don't know the old Hacienda Colorado! They were bought by Uncle Julios restraunt chain back in 2019 saying they weren't going to change things. Then the pandemic hit and they changed the entire menu. The food use to be 5 star amazingly delicious with so much flavor, now it is sub par run of the mill Mexican food with hardly any flavor and too much heat. The staff are rude and hardly ever around. The atmosphere is depressing. This place used to be packed, even on a Wednesday evening. Now it's just deserted and empty. So sad.

The food was good as always but we had a large party and the wait staff couldn't handle it. Everything was ok with placing our order but when food came out they didn't know who ordered what, which was frustrating. Then when it was time to pay, took 30 minutes to sort out the checks. I was surprised they couldn't handle the large party.

Hacienda is a great Mexican food restaurant here in Colorado. I have had a bad dish there. And the El Hefe is a great drink.
