I just went for the first time and had a great experience. Great atmosphere and very personable staff. All of the grapes are sourced from Paso Robles. The wines are unique and delicious. Highly recommend! A great local place to enjoy delicious wine with friends.
This is a true California wine tasting room in the heart of Englewood! I frequently visit the Paso Robles region of California for wine. I was at Ladron’s sister winery in CA when I found out they had a beautiful location here in Colorado! My only regret is not finding it sooner! The tasting room is gorgeous, the wines are absolutely stunningly and the location is perfect! It has become a favorite date night for myself and husband. Especially on Friday nights with live music! The owner and wine maker Richard is friendly and knowledgeable! His wife Tracy is often at the winery as well and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! If you are a true wine lover…. Don’t miss this place!!!!!
What a great experience! It was great to find this hidden gem in Denver that feels like a tasting experience Paso, California. Highly recommended!
Great service! Great wine!
Fantastic afternoon wine tasting. Served by the owner and winemaker who was a wealth of knowledge. Very good wines with most of the grapes sourced from California. Not a single one we didn’t like and we are a little harder to impress than the average wine drinker. Mostly blends. Beautiful tasting room with outdoor space too. Will definitely be back.
A Confusing and Disappointing Experience at Ladron Wine Tasting
I recently visited Ladron Wine Tasting in Englewood, CO, and had one of the most bizarre and bewildering experiences I’ve ever encountered at a wine tasting. It all began when Tracy, our host, informed us that there were two different tasting options: one for reds and one for whites. However, after our first white wine, she suddenly changed course and mentioned that we weren’t guaranteed an all-white tasting.
This abrupt shift in communication left our entire party confused and questioning the clarity of the service. It felt as though Tracy was more interested in finding a way to avoid serving us rather than ensuring we had a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The situation only escalated when Tracy remarked that we weren’t “Jiving.” To be clear, the lack of “Jiving” was a direct result of the poor service and confusing communication we received.
In the end, Tracy decided that we didn’t need to pay, which was a surprising conclusion to an already strange experience. While the gesture was appreciated, it did little to remedy the overall confusion and disappointment we felt.
This was far from the relaxing and enjoyable wine tasting experience we had anticipated. I hope Ladron Wine Tasting considers this feedback and makes the necessary improvements to ensure future guests have a clearer and more positive experience.
Based on other reviews I was expecting a better experience and perhaps it all depends on who your server is.
Editing this to add that I believe Tracy is one of the owners which, if this is true then it just makes my experience even worse. She clearly was bothered with having to serve us and didn’t want anything to do with explaining the wines she was fumbling to serve. It was very obvious she didn’t want myself or the group I was with in her establishment.
My absolute favorite winery in Denver! Been a member for about a year now and have so enjoyed coming back for tastings and their semi-annual wine member parties. The owners are knowledgeable, gracious, and fun. Put Ladróm Cellars on your can't miss list!
Across the board, best group of wines you can find. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very knowledgeable. Fantastic place to spend an afternoon tasting wine. Highly recommended.
Great people and great wine. Cant beat the views.
Phenomenal Wines!!! I assumed it would be decent but we were all wowed! Everything tastes very high quality, very smooth, unique in all the right ways. The interior is modern but not sterile. Having glasses set out at each table already really makes it feel homey.

Spent an afternoon /evening here with some friends we were staying with whilst travelling America. It was By far one of our best moments there. The owner was beyond welcoming and was so kind. What a beautiful place. Can't recommend it enough!
