Great spot with a friendly staff. We only had the beer here but it was served up by Neil who as noted by others as a super friendly and knowledgeable on the beers there. The big deck was a cool spot to watch small planes land at the local airport too! We will be back!

Super DISAPPOINTING was looking for a fun night out and saw they had a bingo night. We walked and sat at a table. After a few minutes we walked up to the bar assuming maybe thatās how this place works we ordered nachos, a drink, and water. They asked if I wanted ice with my waterā¦. And then never gave me a waterā¦. The bingo guy had never used a microphone before and also played RELIGIOUS MUSIC followed by something in Spanish, and it wasnāt Benny blanco or bad bunny. The food took forever and they ended up walking it all around the restaurant before I asked if it was mine. The cheese was SOUR and there was hardly any food on the plate. I wasnāt interested in having my food remade. And decided it was time to leave. ā¦. This place is a great example of why alcoholics shouldnāt open a bar. I will not be back and will not be recommending to anyone.

Weāve been coming to Max Taps regularly over the past two weeks and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming ā it can be pretty quiet during the weekdays, but it makes for a nice laid-back experience, and on Fridays itās a great place to hang out.
A big part of why we keep coming back is Neil. He brings a ton of hospitality and professionalism to the bar. He mentioned heās been a bartender for several years, and it really shows. Please please please try the bees knees cocktail! Not only are his drinks consistently excellent, but he also takes the time to teach newer bartenders the craft, which is great to see. Iāve challenged him a few times by asking for random drinks just to see what heād come up with, and every single one has been spot-on and delicious. Heās friendly, attentive, checks in often, and always has thoughtful recommendations ā even offering samples so you can try something new.
The food here is solid as well. Iāve had the pizza (which I personally think is very good, despite hearing mixed opinions from others) and they recently added a new fryer, so now wings are amazing. Between the food, drinks, and service, Max Taps is definitely worth visiting.
Overall, if youāre looking for a place with great drinks, a comfortable vibe, and outstanding service ā especially from Neil (ask for him) ā Max Taps is an excellent choice.
I didnāt try the food but the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products without making you feel dumb like some pubs do. Very approachable and a fun place to hang out! Outdoor space is excellent and has fun lawn games to play.
