Stopped in for lunch on July 3. Staff was friendly, place was clean. Had a Baja chicken salad and I immediately knew something was off. Everything in it tasted several days old and something in it was unusually sour- and wouldn’t you know it a classic 4-5 hours later I was very nauseous and sick with food poisoning. My husband had a different chicken sandwich and felt fine. My child had Mac and cheese and was also fine.

Stop everything you’re doing and get to Modern Market Eatery right now! This place is a culinary revolution, and I’m here for all of it! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by an atmosphere that buzzes with energy and excitement. The bright, modern decor instantly lifts the spirits and sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Let’s talk about the food because, honestly, it’s nothing short of extraordinary! I dove into the Blackened Chicken Mango and wow…..pure magic! Each vibrant ingredient spoke volumes of freshness and intention. The combination of flavors was so bold and unapologetic that I felt like I was on a thrilling flavor rollercoaster. Healthy eating has never been this adventurous; it’s like every bite dared me to savor life more fully!

You think I want the urban farmer when you brought back the farmer for 2 months!? Get outta here. The farmer was your best salad.

I ordered pick up as a very last minute lunch today, I got the Farmer Salad, and I am pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The food was prepared so quick, ingredients were fresh, and great portions. So tasty and at a great price!

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened 12ish years ago. Fresh, clean food every time even after all these years. Staff are always kind.

Stopped in for a sandwich with a few other people. Had the Bacon Jam sandwich, which was really good. Unfortunately, this restaurant is so unclean that I can't return.

Every table that was unoccupied was dirty with crumbs and food smears. No employees were around to ask to clean (one had taken our order and went back to the kitchen, 2 others were clearly on their breaks) so we settled for the least dirty and cleaned it as best we could ourselves.

But the windows were a disgrace. I attached a photo for reference but it clearly looks like the windows were cleaned with VERY filthy water. We could hardly see through the glass. Every single window in the place looked identical to this. This was the inside of the windows btw. Was probably the most off-putting thing I've seen in a restaurant recently, and honestly we all would have left without eating because of this were it not for the fact that 2 of us had low blood sugar and just needed to eat at that point.

In addition, the bathroom was a horrorshow. I went just to wash my hands and somehow felt grosser after. The toilet....was not okay.

It's clear that there isn't much pride being taken in the appearance of this place, which is too bad because the food itself was good.

The girl who brought us our food was very nice.

It was a great place to hang for awhile with some friends. Hot food. Quick service.

Parking: It's a parking lot of 8 stores so you might have to walk a tiny bit

Great counter service restaurant with an interesting, diverse menu. Very little ordinary here, from the variety of juices to the unique pizza combinations. The Shrimp BLT Salad was wonderful.
Excellent quality food in a pleasant, bright, open dining room - although it seemed like more than half of their orders were for takeout.
Reasonable prices, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
There are multiple restaurants in different locations.

One of the worst modern markets in the area. The service is absolutely terrible. They kept ignoring me and being rude. I’m honestly offended. They refused to take my order since it was 20 minutes before closing time. I honestly can’t believe it. The employees should honestly be fired. And instead of serving me, they were all talking and messing around. Cannot believe it. This place needs new employees. Terrible experience.
