The definition of the word osteria is a simple and inexpensive wayside inn... This restaurant is neither of the first two descriptors... Having said that, the food and service are both exceptional... Changing plates and silverware between each course might seem a little excessive and unnecessary, but it nevertheless was impressive as was the fact that the service team works together seamlessly. Like other reviewers have mentioned, they do try to keep your dining experience to like an hour. Our waiter let us know that ahead of time. We finished our meal under 50 minutes from sitting down to paying. Take that how you will.

Our group of four enjoyed our first experience at Osteria Alberico. Service was wonderful, pacing of courses was spot on and we enjoyed every dish aside from the carrots (Burrata, focaccia, fritto misto, bucatini all’amatriciana, pizza margherita, and bistecca alla fiorentina). The carrots were not tender enough and could have used a bit more char and sweetness. Excited to have this in the neighborhood and looking forward to returning.
