It’s funny me and my wife spent about 30 min driving around town to multiple sushi restaurants, all jam packed and over an hour waits everywhere. We come here and there is only 1 other couple in here. We have cake many times before and it’s always easy to sit in. This place is a hidden gem for centennial!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here several times over the past few years and each time has been an amazing experience. It is a Japanese run sushi restaurant, and most if not all of the staff are also of Japanese descent and speak Japanese. The food is authentic and delicious, with an amazing selection of sushi, sashimi, ramen, gyoza, and other Japanese dishes. Their menu is affordable as well, in comparison to other sushi restaurants I’ve visited. The restaurant itself is cozy and decorated with Japanese items and calligraphy quotes hand-written by the current owner and chef. The staff are welcoming and happy to accommodate any dietary needs such by as separating food items into a different plate for family members with allergies. It’s also common for me to run into Japanese friends and acquaintances because the restaurant is well known and popular among the Japanese community in the Denver area. Overall it is a restaurant with great food, a friendly ambience, and a nice gathering place for celebrations and get-togethers with friends and family.

Sushi Kazu is a amazing restaurant boasting some interesting fish. The best things here are the Nigiri and Sashimi for sushi. The food that comes out of the kitchen is also great! The tempura was out of this world. I really loved the interior as well. It feels just like you walked into a sushi joint in Japan. The vibes were top notch 10/10.

This is not the Sushi Kazu under the original owner. Sushi pieces were bland and the seafood didn't taste fresh. If it wasn't for the slight excess of sauces and soy, not sure if this was much better than grocery store grade Sushi. Far cry from what this place and flavor used to be. But hey, they got a TV on the wall now, I guess
