We hit this place because of the stellar reviews but man was it disappointing. -the mushroom and cheese pull apart croissant was severely undercooked on the bottom, like inedible for me -they did not offer the chocolate croissants warmed up so there's just a bar of hard chocolate in your croissant. It was also severely lacking chocolate -lacking options
The staff is great and the place has a very cute vibe but the pastries were so disappointing. 5 pastries and a coffee plus tip was over $50

I came here for a French pattiserie vibe which it had in terms of great pastries, seating and layout. But the staff did not complete this energy nor the loud rock music. Not a place I'd like to enjoy my time

Bakery with fresh bread, sweet & savory pastries and coffee. The blueberry almond croissant was excellent and paired well with a cappuccino. They had several other interesting choices displayed as well.
Service was fast, friendly and helpful. The space had several tables which were mostly occupied and there are additional tables outside. They do have password protected Wi-Fi available for guests.
There was adequate parking in the lot in the morning.

I can see why they have been getting mediocre reviews recently. Yes, they make everything daily, but that doesn't mean it makes sense to sell out of almost everything by 10 am, let alone lunch items. Pastry quality is acceptable but lags the level of the bakery franchises that are starting to take over in the US. Coffee is fine. If you're in the area and want something quick to eat, as I was, you might as well check it out, but there's no reason to make a trip.

Had a sandwich, and brownie here today around 11 am. The sandwich was just okay while the brownie tasted old and not very yummy. Not too much in the deli cases, and all of the cookies were hard. I don't think I will return again, and sadly the service was quite underwhelming as well.

The Trompeau Bakery + Cafe never disappoints. A must stop every time I am heading downtown. I specially go down Broadway to get an amazing croissant for breakfast and a French baguette for the road. Always busy- always good!!

Has always been my go to since their early days on Evans. Unfortunately the quality has definitely dropped off as of late. Stopped making some of the items that made them very unique - like the raspberry cage - and I will say the last couple of times in there, their croissants had lost a step.

This bakery is really great, the croissants and breads are delicious. I was in earlier and got a whole box, I ended up dropping them everywhere of course and the girl who was working this morning was so sweet and I just wanted to thank her for her kindness and thank the bakery for their amazing baked goods and service! Every time I’m in Denver I come here and it’s always worth it and wonderful!
