I can only speak for take out. We haven't eaten in yet, but want to! The inside is super cute! This spot is easily the best Chinese takeout around. We live just north in Platt Park, and it's become our go to for Chinese when we're in the mood.
Executive Lunch for 15 bucks is fantastic. Server was attentive and fast. Be aware that they are experiencing staffing issues so there may be waits for take out or even table orders but it's entirely worth it.
Food overall really good. Ate here a few times. But Xmas eve '22, sweet and sour pork must have been undercooked. I was up all, night vomiting. Wife was fine but she didn't have my entree.
The best Chinese in town... bar none! I have been visiting for many years and the quality of the food has never changed. I recommend this place to everyone who will listen! My go-to is hot and sour soup, sesame chicken with fried rice and pan fried potstickers. Simply amazing.
Never again. We did the dinner thing for 2 people. Soup with appetizers and 2 entrees. The worst sweet and sour soup I have ever had and it was lukewarm. The egg rolls tasted like they were frozen and not made there and they were lukewarm. The crab wonton were hot and ok.There was a chicken thing wrapped in foil and it was NASTY.We had the white and fried rice. The white rice was hot and the fried rice was lukewarm and just rice no vegetables like I have always had, I didn’t know it was made without vegetables. The rice was served 5-7 minutes before the entrees so it was lukewarm by the time the lukewarm entrees arrived. We had cashew chicken and twice cooked pork entrees, both were lukewarm but the meat was hot, like they weren’t cooked together. I’m glad my friend (who chose the restaurant) didn’t seem to care about the temperature or taste of the food so it didn’t ruin the evening. Like I said never again.
Twin Dragon was my great-grandmother's favorite Chinese restaurant. We've had a really hard time finding good Chinese food in Colorado as the restaurants get passed down to the next generations. We keep coming back to Twin Dragon because we're rarely disappointed.Their food is pretty good. The same person waits on everyone every time we're there. She's pretty quick and always nice. She also recognizes who you are even if it's been a while since you've eaten there.
Vegetarian options: Like most restaurants.
Greeting: shouted from twenty feet away are going to eat food.. Yes I am I'll be right there... 5 minutes later... sit here ...again from across the room ya want something besides water.... Yes I do.. ice tea please... Five more minutes slap's down on table cup ? hot tea and leaves ... Comes back I ordered ice tea not hot tea reply... Machine for ice tea is broken... I don't want this..Sheesh what's your problem...Food order I don't see what I want house fried rice or combo rice and two egg rolls... That's a dinner menu I'll get it... No I don't need the menu just order it...eye roll..... this Chicago person treated everyone this way...I won't be back even though the food was good .. had to go back to work with my food... wasn't so good by dinner time .
Always a great experience ?. I've been going here for years and will continue to?. Great food & if you dine in, the atmosphere is excellent.
My family and I have been going to the Twin Dragons since 2005. Everyone loved the food especially my 9 year old grandson. Today we ordered 3 plates of food, we taste the food and it was too salty for me. I had my daughter and grandson taste theirs as well. My grandson made a face, shook his head and said his was too salty as well. Even my daughter, the salt lover, choked and agreed. We took the food back. The old lady who runs the show told my daughter. "No I'm not cooking anymore rice, that's the way we cook it all the time" My daughter said "We've been coming for more years than I remember, either change our orders or give me the money back and lose business. She gave us our money back. What happened to customer are always right. Or was it because we're Black.
I've been wanting to try this place. Order the BBQ pork ribs, it wasn't sweet but it had serious meat on the ribs. Tried the pork lo mein which was really good. I'm picky about my lo mein. And got the sesame chicken, glad it wasn't spicy, which I forgot when ordering. They were big pieces of chicken, it was tender and I enjoyed it.
Restaurantji Recommends
I went in by myself because I was craving crab Rangoons. Was quickly greeted by smiling faces and seated. Male server on Monday night shift is very personable and polite. After my meal I was served a small yellow cube desert It was very pretty I think it was jello cake and ice cream very cute! Oh yeah and the Rangoons were crunchy and delicious!
This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the Denver metro. I've been coming here since I was a kid visiting family in Colorado. I always try to take advantage of any opportunity to bring someone new here.
This is the best Chinese food in Denver. There might be some places that have fancier menus or more expensive dishes, but none offer the same experience. Food is amazing and staff is always great. Love this place.
I've been going here for a long time, and it really hurts to see they are struggling. I highly recommend this place for awesome Chinese, a good atmosphere, and family vibes. The owner and his wife are really good people. Make sure you support them and make a visit. Plus sweet n sour soup is some of the best I've ever had!
Great service ordinary food. My first time here. Passable but not great.
