So far this place was the most disappointing, worst meal I’ve had so far since I moved to Denver. Portion sizes are very small while prices are pretty high. Around $16 for a bowl where I still left hungry after finishing it and it only had 3 small pieces of meat. Spent $40 on two tiny plates and an average cup of boba made from powder. The worst part of the meal other than the terrible portion sizes is the rice. Somehow they managed to make rock hard, dried out rice even though the restaurant is named after rice. Sad I wasted my money and time coming here. You’re better off going down the road to Coark collective food hall.

The fried chicken is fantastic and the Korean Spicy Sauce is amazing. It tastes just like the Yangnyeom we've had in South Korea. Corn dog has the lightest crispiest batter and always a family favorite. Jjajang is homey, umami, and delicious. Quick and friendly service dine in or take out.

Brendan guys not Brandon! Lol anyways this brother is a loving and hard working citizen that cherishes his community with everything he got. Once he had a big hand accident but he still came to church and he made us bobas for the summer vbs. We love you! ❤️ food is always good just can’t find the pictures right now 👍

You'd think that their rice be A1 grade considering that its an asian restaurant, but my goodness rice was as hard as rocks. Chicken katsu plate was extremely dry. Ugly rice really lived up to its name. That rice was TERRIBLE!
Everything exceeded my expectations
I have lunch or dinner at Ugly Rice once a week. My favorite meal is the bibimbap with a side of kimchi and a green tea. The restaurant is family-owned, and everyone who works there is so friendly. It’s clean, the price point is very reasonable, and the menu is varied with tons of fresh ingredients. Fun K Pop music videos play on low in one corner of the restaurant. The color theme of the dining area is bright yellow, very cheerful and inviting. The kimchi is the best I’ve had in Colorado. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!

Awesome place! Fast casual with a fun vibe, great to dine in for a quick bite. The smell was amazing when I walked in and I knew the food would be good! The food was great! I got the japchae with beef, and my husband got a chicken and rice cake dish (I forget the name). They were both delicious! The banana berry boba with tapioca pearls was also great! Service was also great, a friendly and casual atmosphere!
Highly recommend!!!

Easy online system, let's you cut any wait time for getting food. Chicken tenders are actually full sized! Highly reccomend the half Korean dog (half dog, half cheese). Portions are all large and everything we had was fantastic
Had: half dog, pork cutlet, tenders, japchae, and milk tea

This place is one of my all time favorite places to eat at. I stop in whenever I can when I'm working and come in the area. Unfortunately it is in a far out spot, but that's probably for the best because if it was closer to me id eat here probably twice a week. I haven't had everything on the menu, but everything I've eaten has been mouth watering! I hope they never go out of business, I would miss their food dearly. The people in there are all so very nice and respectful, and I'm happy to see them every single time! If I was an influencer, id make this place blow up!
