It was packed for trivia night (which was awesome), but maybe they could have had more staff to serve drinks. Still, service was friendly and super hard-working. It was really cold for most of the night. Next time I won't assume a bar will be warm ?

Western Sky Bar isn’t even my local bar, I live in Aurora. I frequent here for trivia, and I always come back because of the dedication and hard work that Harrison and Whitney put into this place. They host live music, comedy, book club, and markets to support other small businesses. Thank you Whitney and Harrison for everything you do!

Great spot for trivia! They have a truly awesome “this is a clue” trivia night with a great host and friendly bartenders. Good amount of gluten free drink options and they’ve had food trucks for the trivia nights we’ve been to. Definitely a good find!

My boyfriend and I were looking for something to do Thursday night and we saw this place was having a comedy open mic. We’re always hoping around finding good comedy open mics so we gave this place a shot!First off they allow Dogs (well behaved of course) so our golden retriever was happy he was included. I recommend getting their earlier because the bar was packed, bartenders did a good job making sure everyone got servedThe comedy was hilarious the woman that performed (mad at myself for forgetting her name) needs a Netflix special her bit had my boyfriend and I laughing so hard, we had tears at one point. Would he awesome to see her again there.I also wanted to give a huge shout out to the owner! As someone that loves open mic nights I can’t stand when people talk during someone’s set. People are nervous enough and it’s beyond rude. Hosts all the time tell the audience to be quiet during sets but I feel like they don’t enforce it because of the “hospitality aspect” and don’t want to ruffle feathers.We were getting super irritated with the table in front of us that talked non stop during the show, I almost said something to them myselfThe owner not only called them out once but twice and said if they didn’t wanna stop talking they could leave. They finally stopped talking and it was super refreshing to see (especially as myself being in the industry) an owner not bowing down to people just because they’re at his bar. Making the people that wanted to watch the show enjoy their experience.Overall great time! Will be back!

We arrived as a group: Dive Bar Aficionados. A meetup group that checks out local dive bars.The beer taps were clean, the food was affordable and tasty, and the staff was friendly.We also happened to be there for a kickass evening of Xtreme Bingo!Cool place.
