If someone asks me about the best restaurant in Erie, Piripi is the answer. Are you looking for a memorable date night? My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary at Piripi. The food, service and atmosphere made it an excellent choice. It was really nice to have such delicious and beautiful vegetarian and vegan options. Frequently these options at other restaurants seem more of an over priced afterthought rather than an art form. Thank you to Piripi for making our evening so lovely!

Great food, great music, great patio. Enjoying the sunset with wine and guilt free tapas was priceless. Our server Nico was attentive and fantastic to talk to. Happy to have Piripi in town.
We came in for lunch and had a lovely experience with both the food and service. I enjoyed the NY strip with chimichurri; it was thick and grilled to perfection and the sauce was a delicious complement in flavor to the Mediterranean salad I paired with it! The only thing that could have made my meal a little better would be nonalcoholic beverage options that did not feature alcohol substitutes. Inside, the large, open windows give the restaurant an open feel and a connected view overlooking old town Erie. For lunch, we enjoyed the small and intimate dining area in the booth we sat in at the back of the restaurant, but it might feel tight to some at dinner time as the tables were close together and most were in the middle of the restaurant. Overall a great experience, but I don’t think I’d go back anytime soon as the menu was limited and seemed to feature Italian/Spanish influenced foods and while I appreciate that most foods were gluten free, I tend to avoid pasta and Italian food when dining out.

So frustrating.we live in the community and have been here several times hoping things might be different this time and knowing it is going to be expensive. No less than 10 times we have walked away feeling unfulfilled with the food and service and spent over $120 for two peopleAgain tonight, came in and got another I am sorry but...there is always something they can't do and constantly get the feeling they are put out every time you ask for something or have to flag down the bartender because you have been waiting for them to come back around to you.Consistantly you have to deal with the attitude of the day with the female bartenders that couldn't care if you were there or not. Seriously. They don't check in, they give the impression "take it or leave it" and we are lucky they are waiting on you. They don't know a thing about HOM to ensure/validate the customer had an ideal experience.Hopeful this review gets the attention of the owners because they deserve to understand what is going on when they are not present. If this is the values and expectation, I completely understand. If not they are have some inspecting what they expect todo and likely some formal training.We want the businesses here to be successful. And, at the same time there will soon be many more options and these experience will have substantial consequences for the business.

We came here for Valentines Day and overall had a wonderful experience! We had reservations so not sure what the typical wait may be but I recommend making one just in case! Customer service was great, our waiter was super kind and attentive. The ambiance is very cute and cozy! The tables are pretty close together so it may be difficult to get items like walkers or strollers through the aisles. The lighting was dimmed later the evening got which was very nice!! The food is pretty great!! They offered special valentines menu which had a few entrees, dessert, and drink options. We both got steaks which were good cuts and cooked well. (I highly recommend getting the Spiced Apple Mule ;)) We finished with crème brûlée for dessert and oh was that delicious! Pricing of the food is on the higher end and overall I'm still contemplating whether it was worth it or not. However, the experience was great and the food was good! We would probably return!

Amazing food and drinks! A real gem in Old Town Erie. My wife and I have spent multiple Valentine’s dinners here and we plan to continue that tradition because of the great service at Piripi. Get the bananas foster cheesecake for dessert!

We came in for lunch and had a lovely experience with both the food and service.
