this was the first restaurant we tried after moving to erie, and we continue to get takeout weekly. it’s so inexpensive and the rolls are excellent! the owners are also very friendly.

This is one of the best sushi places in Erie. I love the owners they’re so sweet and nice and I feel so welcomed everytime I come here. I’ve tried like half of the menu already, getting a new item every time I come in and I’ve never been disappointed.

The sushi always tastes fresh and everything I’ve gotten so far would look amazing. My personal favorite would definitely be the sunset roll. I can be a picky and indecisive person but everyone is so helpful and understanding. 100% recommended I never want to go anywhere else.

I'll try it again sometime, but my first visit was so-so. Kind owner/manager. Restaurant was empty (mid-day) and I asked what her favorite roll was to eat or to make. She asked what fish I like, which is ALL, but I named usuals tuna, salmon... and she suggested the Erie Roll which turned out to not have any fresh fish (imitation crab salad inside, outer layer of imitation crab). It tasted fine, was unexpectedly salty, looked pretty. I'll maybe get sashimi if I return. Not sure what factored into suggesting I have a salty sushi roll with no fish in it. Mistakenly thought the opportunity to ask the boss for suggestion being my 1st time there and empty restaurant would've been an excellent choice.

I was very surprised by here. Incredibly good and fresh sushi, you would think it would be crazy expensive? Nope! Incredibly reasonably priced and outstanding service, will definitely be back.

New owners and a new kinda WOW!!! Went there yesterday and you would never expect this little sushi restaurant in a strip mall would deliver an incredible variety and super fresh sushi (see picture). My wife and I went with a friend. The hostess/owner asked what we liked and how many rolls and she delivered what looked like an artwork of food. It’s mostly takeout there, which is awesome for a no cooking night, or you can order and eat in the restaurant. If you love sushi, you have to try it.5 Stars2 Thumbs Up

I had been sleeping on Sakura - it’s fast indeed, yummy and fresh, rolls are a great size, and the man and woman working there were very pleasant both on the phone and in person. I ordered the crazy horse roll (good portion of fish in there!), firecracker roll, and the bronco roll. The ambiance is casual and unassuming, so not necessarily a spot for date night but perfect for lunch, quick dinners and takeout.

A modest and quaint place. Its a different atmosphere to most sushi restaurants in a way that feels more casual. The staff are nice, the rolls are good, and the prices are better than most places. Overall, great value and great experience, i look forward to eating here again.
