I was in for Starbucks most promoted day of the year, **!!!RED CUP DAY!!!** WOO!!!! So incredibly busy, like line out the door, the entry way filled with so many people, so many drinks on that display shelf that they were beginning to place drinks on the sides of the black counter top. This little store was nuts!! I placed a mobile order hoping be in and out, which definitely was not the case. I ended up having a great time waiting for my order and getting to talk to the two girls handing out drinks and navigating the mess of snobby customers. I don't think people understand how online ordering actually works, I listened to numerous conversations many of which were nasty about the workers, and nasty about the amount of time they waited. When I got my drink I told the girls how great they were doing, and how they needed to keep smiling. They looked at each other and thanked me, I think they really needed to hear that. The kids working here are great.

Starbucks needs a better system, a better way to communicate with customers on how long orders will realistically take. Maybe... let the customers choose a pick up time like every other restaurant.

I have been to this location many times and have almost always the worst experiences. I was told they were too busy to make my mobile order that I placed 15 minutes prior and they wanted me to go get back in line which was out to the street. Otherwise I could wait inside but it was going to be a while. I asked for a refund and was told you’ll need to come inside and wait for that as well. Shut off the mobile ordering if it’s too much!!!! The last time I was there I tried to pick up 3 mobile orders, 4 drinks in total and was told they could only hand me two of the orders through the drive thru. I would need to come inside to pick up the 4th drink that was ready a sitting next to the other 3. What on Earth!

They open at 4:30am and I arrived at 4:50am. Door was locked and someone came to open. When I walked in the guy said we are busy. No one inside! Got to the counter and one girl was just standing there and it looked like she was talking to someone with a headset on. She never said anything to me. Another girl came over and asked if I am being helped. I walked out because that girl with the headset was just standing there as if she did not want to be there or even offer to take my order. I’ll go to the nearby 7/11 and get my coffee.

I've been here about 30 times, and all employees have been quite friendly! My only major complaint is that sometimes it can get crazy busy. I get it that it's not their fault, so I didn't ding them for that - if you mobile order just check the estimated time! Starbucks could easily put in another location in Erie soon. One thing they could fix is the metal ice lid as it is VERY loud when it is open/closed (bangs) by a barista, which is quite out of place for a chill coffee shop setting. Glad to have this in Erie!

They never make the modifications that I usually have to pay extra for and can't even look to see how many items are in an order. I've never been to such a consistently crappy Starbucks.... what a disappointment

I do agree with some of the negative reviews, but, I think the summer younger help may have been who they are referring to. Some of them acted like this is just a place to have fun, shouting to each other.The barristas now have mostly been super. Patricia, in particular, greets me by my name and remembers my somewhat complicated order. Little things make customers come back.

I don’t write many negative reviews, but this Starbucks experience was shockingly poor. I asked for my drink without ice — a simple request I’ve made at other locations without any issue. The barista flat-out refused to make it and offered no alternatives, no workaround, no help. Just a cold, dismissive “no.”

Her tone was condescending and made it clear she had no interest in providing even basic customer service. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just hoping to enjoy my birthday drink the way I like it.

Instead, I walked away frustrated, unwelcome, and honestly surprised that a company known for personalization and hospitality would allow this kind of service. Starbucks should seriously reevaluate the standard being set at this location.
