If I could give this place a negative I would I was so mad 1st they didn't have chicken for flautas so I got the carniitas, the place was dirty they brought out my husbands food first then brought mine like 15 -20 minutes later so I got it to go when I got home to eat there was no meat in 1 of the 4 I got and the other 3 barley had meat will never go back to this place again.

Pretty good food, I typically go for their tres leches as there are better tacos around. But they are very commonly out of their desserts which is disappointing.

This was the saddest lunch I’ve had in recent memory. I just felt like a BRC. Only 4 ingredients in this item. Just el gippo all around. Crappy crappy crappy. Down on Public Avenue there’s a few places I’ve been to that are much better. I don’t recommend this place and won’t go back.

20 minutes prior to get in there I order over the phone so when I got there, my food was ready however when I arrive I was charged and my phone wasn’t ready after 20 minutes and then I asked the lady hey where’s my food at and she’s like always here so this whole time that I was there my food was right there getting cold arriving home she didn’t give me salsa napkins And my burrito was cold and oily. This is my third time going there. I don’t understand what happened this time, but I was very disappointed.

I stopped into Tacos El Rey 2 this morning at 9:25am for a breakfast burrito on my way to work. When I walked in, there was a young man sitting at one of the booths surfing his phone. As I approached the counter, he lazily got up to take my order. I asked him if they served breakfast burritos. Without saying a word, he reached up and turned on the TV above his head which displayed the menu. I ordered a smothered chorizo burrito. The only words spoken by the employee was the price for the burrito, otherwise, he never looked up from his phone. I paid with a card and left a tip. This will be the last time I ever tip at a counter. I sat down and waited for my burrito. I waited for over 25 minutes and eventually left without my breakfast because I was going to be late for work. The entire time I waited for my food, the employee that took my order just stared at his phone.
I could see that there were two other guys working in the kitchen, but they obviously had no interest in preparing food at any sort of reasonable pace. Its not like this place was swamped either, I was the only customer in the restaurant until about 5 minutes before I walked out. I paid over $8 for a burrito that I never received. And I tipped. How stupid. Somebody owes me a refund.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!

This place is barely a restaurant, been open for 2 hours and the chairs are still on the tables. One breakfast burrito takes 20 minutes. Employees could GAF. Good burritos though.
