Hidden gem in Erie! It was our first time here and we were really impressed. The bone-in wings with the special secret seasoning/sauce were the best wings we've had in Colorado. Perfectly crispy, not dry and great flavor. Smaller cucumbers in the house salad would be appreciated, but the mango vinaigrette was delicious. I had the Mahi Mahi fish and my husband the Nashville 911 shrimp. Both prepared perfectly--seafood cooked properly, really good seasoning, balanced flavors. Service was decent for a Saturday mid-afternoon.

When I first moved to Erie five years ago The Dugout was the first place I ate at. Five years later it's still my go to for wings a great burger or happy hour with my wife. The owner Johnny is really cool and makes a point to get to know his customers. If you live in Erie or just passing through and looking for a burger and a beer try the Dugout, you won't be disappointed.Parking: It's in a small shopping complex with a huge parking lot so there's never a problem with parking.Kid-friendliness: Tons of families go there to have lunch and dinner including mine.

A “hole in the wall” that’s a favorite with the locals. They’ve got a myriad of TVs to watch the game in two rooms - a bar room and a dining room. They’ve got all the usual American staples - burgers, wings, fries, etc.Their hidden super power is also their tacos. I either eat in or get them delivered at least once a week. This includes 4 different vegetarian tacos.

Had really been craving a great burger with a fried egg and bacon, and boy did Dugout deliver! Great flavor, was ready right when they said it would be, and had tator tots as a side option (nice plus for me). Was a bit on the pricier side but no regrets, would definitely come back again.

This was my first visit and we had 13 people. The food was amazing, our waitress one on the best ever, and nice surroundings. My avocado and shrimp tacos were excellent and the smoky salsa superb. They brought all 13 of our orders practically at the same time which is rare. Only need for improvement was the people who ordered beef found it chewy and a bit fatty. We will certainly add this to our list of favorites!!

Shouldn’t say closes at 10pm if you lock the doors at 9pm when your still open and people are in there.

Food was definitely meh. Kraft Mac and cheese that was dry. Bacon half cooked half fat that was rolled in balls probably from putting it in a deep fryer really quick. Burger over cooked but tasted OK nonetheless...the pretzel was sad and looked and tasted to be microwaved. The cheese sauce for it was decent. The place itself is fairly small and the tables and chairs are small and uncomfortable...Service was pretty good ...

This hole in the wall is now on the top of my brunch list. I had the Huevos Rancheros and Tachos:The Huevos Rancheros are far from traditional, but texturally pleasing. Try them out to see precisely what I'm referring to.The Tachos were also a score. Come hungry because it is a hearty portion. I recommend the steak as a protein because it is tender and perfectly seasoned. To top it off, the bartender is on top of her game. Always right there when I needed something and incredibly friendly - which you don't see much of in the service industry these days.

I have had some dishes here I really enjoyed, (Caesar salad, breakfast tots and Teriyaki Chicken). I've had some that I didn't care for (chicken parm). And I like coming here to eat because the food is generally good, but the service has always been an issue. Although the servers are very friendly, they often tend to forget about their tables once the food comes out. Every time I've been here, I've had to chase the servers down at the bar and typically wait around 5 minutes to get the check paid or ask for anything additional. Sort of frustrating. But maybe that's just one of its quirks? Worth a try though to see if it's maybe a local spot that works for you.

I teiwd this restautant a few months back. While i had atrempted to stop by address kept tsking me somewhere in downtown Erie where they must of been previously o was never able to locate it perhaps were in process of moving not sure. I finally figured out found it amd finally stopped by. The atmosphere is casual but would use a little more character.Anyways the notty gritty of food...the staff was friendly rythm was a little choppy perhaps due to having owners and friends group being taken care of.I asked for recommendations and the dish i order pretry sure was chipotle sauce seemed like a unique item. While the portion was generous dont think the presentation was well executed . While i kike the dish i was a bit unsure of some elements or ingredients on dish, i was almost sure there was bacon or meat bjt aplrently was a veggie that tends to get chewy. While the flavor was there not quite sure the elements textures fused well and could be improved. The main thing while i enejoyed the food it didnt sit well after and me being a fairly big eater and rarely having this issue i can only assume perhaps bit excessive on spices and seasonings.I would like to stop by tey a burgwr or something else.

We went to the dugout on a weeknight for girls night out. We were able to be seated immediately and the service staff were timely and delightful. We got a variety of dishes including tacos, burritos, salad and fries. Everything was very good for pub food. The atmosphere was pretty typical American pub.Several of us also ordered specialty cocktails and they were very well made and beautifully served.
