First time here, super delicious. I got the Boojie Grilled Cheese, No Body Calls Me Chicken Sandwich, Cider Donuts, and a flight of coders, all really good.

Their Cinnamon Habanero Cider + their Vanilla Bourbon Cider = Liquid Apple Pie. A must have for those warm summer nights by the campfire.

Wonderful place! Cider is delightful and made in-house, a decent selection of local beers as well. Staff is great and super friendly. They always make you feel right at home. Not the largest food selection, but good stuff, and they carry VooDoo chips! Highly recommend to anyone!

I've visited the Old Mine restaurant multiple times and appreciate its role in supporting the local community in Erie. I believe there's an opportunity for improvement, particularly in the menu. Adding more gluten-free options (not salads) and seeking input from regulars or locals for menu suggestions could enhance the dining experience. On a positive note, the salads have been a reliable choice for me. I've utilized the large side room for meetings, but the acoustics are challenging. During a short presentation, it was difficult for everyone to hear due to echoes in the room. While I understand it's primarily a restaurant, addressing the acoustics could improve the versatility of the space. Our group has also expressed a desire for soup, especially a seasonal winter option, to be added to the menu. The staff has VERY consistently been friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive atmosphere. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I believe these adjustments could elevate The Old Mine dining experience.

Good food and cider. Sadly, they don't uphold their child regulations. It's hard to enjoy your experience when children are running around your table screaming.

This review is for the food only. I got a beer and my husband got the cider flight which were fine. The food however was pretty terrible. The nachos were served over burnt parchment paper but was ice cold when we ate it. The salsa was definitely something along the lines of jarred tostitos, the queso probably too. It was just really really low quality, cold, and $20. The pizza was just as bad. Got a pepperoni pizza for also $20 and it was cafeteria quality food. Dough was way too thick and flavor was not great. Also got 1.5 pepperonis per slice. I don't mind paying $20 for food at all, but the quality here is just not there. I'd come to get a couple drinks but I would never order food here again.

Foam Friday this week didn’t come with a ton of foam as I headed to one of our favorite spots in Erie, The Old Mine Cider Company, which serves up some fantastic cider and other great drinks! I had a chance to check out the Paloma Hard Cider which is a seasonal and it was delicious. In the past I’ve enjoyed all kinds of ciders including their great cider and beer infusions. They also have a fantastic food menu which some really good pizzas and wings. Not too mention they are attached to an ice cream shop. They have fantastic seating options for all size of parties and make it super easy to have a great meal and/or drinks! If you are ever in downtown Erie be sure to check them out!
