Food was ok-ish. Waited a long time for our food. Felt like we were all sitting on top of each other. Literally had us all in one area when this restaurant has plenty of room.

Wow, this place was a fantastic experience! They were busy on a popular weekend to visit Estes, but they got us seated right away and provided attentive service. Authentic and truly delicious meal in a cozy setting with a beautiful view. Wish we lived close enough to go back regularly!

This place was well decorated, the food was alright, not the best Mexican restaurant and we’re pretty sure some of the food was spoiled, the beans especially had a weird aftertaste/smell even after we asked the waiter what was in the beans and he said it only had beans, water, and salt, but the wait time itself was around an hour and a half. If you want to sit for a long time and talk then this is the place for you, but we didn’t realize we’d be sitting for longer than we actually ate at this place.

I would do 0 stars if I could. This is the worst Mexican restaurant we have eaten anywhere in the United States. It is very overpriced for its quality. Most of the restaurants in the US serve chips and salsa complimentary. This place charges for them. I don't mind paying for them if they are good quality, but the tortilla chips themselves were nasty and the salsa came out of some kind of a can. Mexican salsa is tasty and you can tell when it is homemade. Grocery store salsa tasted better than what we were served. The horchata was terrible and the beans, whether refried or black were also terrible. The food was nothing to write home about - actually it was very pricey for the quality and taste of it. For such a fancy Mexican food it is terrible that you are charged 3% for paying with a credit card. The only way to avoid that charge is to pay with a bank card or cash - who carries cash around when on vacation? We were very disappointed with this place and definitely don't recommend it!

The food was good no problem there. However I grew up coming here and decided to take my husband and kids to the place I remember I loved. They have decided to capitalize on tourism pricing. It is the only Mexican restaurant I have been to that charges for chips and salsa. It was just very underwhelming and $18 for a burrito feels steep. Not budget friendly. They also got rid of the colorful and warm decor.

Food was good, but service was pretty slow. I'll be honest and admit it also annoys me when you have to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant.

Not Mexican food,
It’s white washed, nasty and over over over priced as hell.
Do yourself a favor and do not go here.!

I paid 30+ for a chili relleno and they only gave me ONE and the rice is not Spanish rice it’s gross white rice. The michelada I ordered was
Gross as well
70+$ for two people

Food was a small step above chipotle. Portions were fair based on price.

The reason for two stars is the overall price I paid just for myself to eat dinner at this place. I thought chips and salsa came with your meal, like normal with mexican restaurants. However, this place charges $5.20 for chips and salsa. And, the chips and salsa are really that good. That is ridiculous and should be against the law! My dinner entree burrito was good, but almost 20.00.

Went here for breakfast on Labor Day. They have a huge menu! I ordered the Mexican skillet and my wife ordered the chilaquiles. Both were generous portion size and hot and fresh. It was a beautiful morning and we were seated right away on their patio. This place can get busy especially on holiday weekends like this and the restaurant filled up pretty quickly after we got there. I am celiac and need to be Gluten free. Their tortilla chips are made in the same fryer as breaded things so if you are GF stay away from anything with chips! My wife is not GF so she was ok with the Chilaquiles. She and my daughter had a margarita with some cranberry in it and they loved it. Amazing view right on the river.

We were greeted by the friendliest staff! On top of the great service, the chips & queso were excellent, view was beautiful, and our entrees were delicious! My family & I will definitely be back!

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. So incredibly disappointed and spent over $120 for 4 people. Would not recommend.

They don't divulge what is in their dishes. I said no peppers, only to learn afterwards they put peppers in their refried beans. I ended up sick before I was done with my meal. My husband ordered a peach tea. He got 75% of the way through it to discover it had bar flies in it! Definitely would not recommend!
