Waiter was very friendly and food came out quickly. But friends with us ordered an appetizer and had to reorder as didn't receive it. Husband had the pork chop and it is literally just meat for $45-had to pay more just for mashed potatoes. My chicken thigh piece was a little bloody, too. Overall food was good tasting but wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
Been going here for 20 years! Always a good time with delicious, local food. Our server was awesome and the restaurant made my birthday special.
Food was excellent!!!! Star of the show was dessert. Tartin tart. Was amazing!!!! The Stanley Old Fashion was very good!!!
We were there for lunch with my 93-year old mother, and our waiter could not have been kinder or more attentive to her needs. The food was delicious...the hotel is beautiful! I would absolutely go back again!
Everything was wonderful. Our waiter took great care of us with a smile and very attentive to our needs. A great day at the Stanley!
The service was excellent and food tasty. However, portions were smaller than before and disappointed in that as we were expecting larger salad portions as well as main dish portions
Although the restaurant was not busy and appeared to be adequately staffed, our entrees were not served until over an hour after we were seated. During that time, multiple tables seated after us were served and had completed their meals before ours arrived. When our food was finally served, the overall quality was very disappointing. The lamb lollies were excellent; however, the remainder of the dishes did not meet expectations. Specifically, the asparagus in the salmon dish was sharp and stringy, and the salmon itself was bland. The half chicken was served with coleslaw on a hot plate, which had clearly been sitting under a warmer; the chicken breast was dry, and the thigh was greasy rather than crisp. The meat flight featured several tough cuts and the service was inconsistent. We had to flag down staff for basic needs like drink refills, yet once we finished eating, plates were cleared so abruptly that we felt rushed. Given that the total bill exceeded $400 for 4 people, the level of food quality and service was far below what one would reasonably expect.
The cheese board had great presentation and everything on it was delicious. My husband had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and broccolini and I had the burrata salad - I LOVED mine as well as the mashed potatoes. Husband said the prime rib was good but didn't care for the au jus that came with it - overall though he was VERY happy. Obviously everyone wants to sit at the bar for a drink but most people park there for quite a time so that's not possible - ideally they would have a one drink rule for the bar but it is what it is. Our server, Lev, was fantastic. Great personality and was very patient with my questions. Overall had a great experience and would definitely come back again if we come back to the area.
Our experience from beginning to end was perfect. The outdoor seating around the fire table, the food, as well as, service from Gavin was great! We hope to come back again one day and will sure recommend to our friends during their travels to Estes Park.
The table in ambience was outstanding and the food was very good, even though we had to return a couple items that came to us not at the right temperature. If the service was better and less defensive along with the hostess requesting us to give the table up for a subsequent reservation I would've placed a hire rating on this experience. The host was asking us to leave even though this waiter had not presented us desserts or a check to pay. It would be expected that the horses would work with the server before approaching the customer to pick up the pace on the meal.

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Cascade Restaurant at the Stanley Hotel! We dined outside, and the small fireplace at the center of our table was a delightful touch, keeping us cozy in the crisp mountain air. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely breathtaking, adding a perfect backdrop to the meal. The food was outstanding—every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, with the bartender going above and beyond with kindness and helpful recommendations. The historic charm of the Stanley Hotel itself added to the overall magic of the evening. Highly recommend dining here for a memorable experience!
Lovely waitress & delicious food, we made reservations which are recommended & it held up to the standard.
Kaelyn was very friendly and very attentive. The shrimp cocktail was perfect. The filets were cooked just right. It is on the expensive side but worth it. Enjoyed taking in the Stanley Hotel.
Very slow service - 3 out of our 4 meals were great; the bison elk meatloaf was mediocre. We will try again when we can get inside reservations- maybe that will help with service.
The best meal we've had on Stanley Hotel property. Our server, Ryan, was fantastic. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect.
