There is only one thing you can do as you pack up and head out of Estes park early in the morning- grab a couple of donuts from the famous Donut Haus. Their apple fritters are maybe the best I've ever had, but all their other offerings are fresh and delicious!

We stumbled upon this place stopping in before hitting the national park and I can safely say this was the best donut I’ve ever eaten. The most surprisingly delicious and fresh donuts we’ve ever had. Hiding tucked away in the gas station you’d never expect them to be that good, step aside stale KrispyKreme donuts and powdered chokers. Make this a stop, thank me later.

Donut Haus is located in Estes Park within the Sinclair gas station shop on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) if you’re coming from the southeast. My friend and I were a bit confused because we only saw the gas pumps when following GPS but just go to the back of the gas station pumps and enter the building. We decided to stop by to get our donut fix in prior to hiking at RMNP and we are glad we did! The donuts tasted fresh and were nice and soft without being too sweet. The guy there was personable and fun to talk to as well.

BEST DOUGHNUTS IN ESTES PARK! With standing in line. There is almost always a wait on weekends. Yes! it's inside the gas station. Love the custard filled, and the raspberry filled. Bonus! theymake excellent plain yeasted raised glazed doughnuts too. Nice selection of specialty doughnuts too.
