We've eaten here a couple of times. The food has been excellent both times! The pie is pretty delicious too!! I ordered the chefs salad and it's huge!!

This restaurant used to be one of our favorites, with a huge menu and food that always felt like a warm, homemade meal like something a grandma would cook. We visited a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately the experience was very different. The menu was much smaller, and the food just wasn’t tasty neither mine nor my husband’s. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was important to share this because something has definitely changed, and I hope you consider bringing back the variety and quality that made this place so special before.

Not bad food. A bit overpriced in my opinion. $7 for a small slice of pie.

Do not attempt to get any food or bakery items here if you have any food sensitivities or allergies. This company is the vendor for a high end wedding venue. Prior to booking the venue, I confirmed with the wedding venue and directly with You Need Pie that they can accommodate my life threatening dairy allergy for our wedding cake. I was assured by the bakery that they can safely feed me, but upon arrival to our cake tasting, they had TWO separate food items with dairy in them on our plate for the tasting. One was caramel, and the other was milk chocolate chip cookies. What a joke and a nightmare. Speaking with the owner, she openly admitted to having incompetent staff that could not safely make our cake, and they backed out from being our bakery for our wedding. Unfortunately they are a bakery that knowingly keeps poor staffing who cannot read ingredients or use common sense to accommodate allergens.

This pie was really, really delicious. It was stacked deep, and firm enough to hold together. The blueberries were NOT from a can of compote, which kept the filling from being too sweet. They had multiple pieces choices, I'm going back again tonight for our dessert.

This used to be a great restaurant and we ate there often. Went a week ago and the service was slow, and the food was terrible. We got grilled cheese that could hardly be called grilled cheese. The bread looked like it had been on the grill for about 30 seconds, there was no mayo or dressing on the sandwich, the cheese was just a lump that sat in the corner and didn't cover the whole slice of bread. Worst GC of my life. Fries were cold, pickle was limp and we had to wait over 20 minutes to get this lousy excuse for a meal. Used to love the place, but doubt I'll go back. Too many other good places in Estes. I think the new owners have ruined a once-great place to eat.

The service was great, the food was just okay. The waffle fries tasted like freezer burn. The reuben was decent.

My favorite food my whole life has always been pie so when I saw this diner I knew we had to stop and it had the hands down best banana cream pie I've ever had. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be grabbing more!

The waitress was way over worked, and confided that the kitchen staff didn't speak English so they didn't understand her instructions. When we ordered, my wife asked for a side salad and asked twice that it be brought before the meal, it came with the meal. The waitress was very nice and very apologetic, but that didn't change this fact. Additionally, the waffle fries were cold, and the table next to us had the same issue. The waitress went back to the kitchen and asked for more for us and the table next to us, but the ones she returned with were under-cooked. It was easy to tell that the table next to us was as unhappy with their food as we were. The modest meal cost $50! We didn't bother to get any pie.

Ordered a sandwich to share and there was an up charge of $ 3.50 more or would waive the charge if ordered an additional side so that is what we did .The peanut butter chocolate pie was average

I was out driving the Peak to Peak highway and before heading back home to the big city stopped in for a to-go burger and some pie to take home. Every single one of their employees was welcoming, cheerful, attentive, and appreciative. You will definitely enjoy your visit! (1 Cajun chicken sandwich meal with 2 sides, and 4 thick slices of pie)
