Super chill little hole in the wall. I tried the pork tamales and I'm sad I only got a half dozen! I'll be back asap, these are amazing.

I was excited to see tamales at a farmers market so I bought some. So my review is only based on what I had- pork & chicken tamales. Maybe I’m spoiled by having had really good tamales before, but there was nothing special about these ones. Not memorable enough to make me want to go back & buy more. Too much masa, not much flavor & not much spice. Meat was extra ground up. The pork had a small amount of red sauce, but the chicken didnt seem to have any sauce. Maybe I was supposed to purchase salsa on the side or something to dip, I’m not sure.

This store is not open consistently. I went to the farmers market and the young boy and his mom (?) debated on who was going to help me…they both wanted to stay sitting. My burritos that I purchased were burnt.

Business hours need to be changed. They do not reflect reality.

We got tamales and fresh salsa from the stand at the Ft. Collins Farmer's Market. We had an excellent experience, made for a great lunch and Tamale are hard to find and even harder to make (I know!)Im sure they have a limited supply of tamales specifically, I could not speak to the restaurant experience in Estes Park, however if you are at the farmer's market I would definitely recommend!

Their food it's just delicious, I have a friend whom didn't like tamales to much but when I gave to try a jalapeño with cheese loved them? the habanero sauce is very spice but are incredible taste you can't stop eating

Some of the best tamales we have ever had.

EARWIG IN MY TAMALE. There was a dead, fully intact earwig bug in my tamale.

Experienced their mole, avocado jalapeño salsa, mango pico de Gallo, and all flavors of tamales from the Denver Farmers Market!! ?????? Incredible hospitality, superior product, great value and price. We served these to our family and could not stop dipping our tortilla chips in the sauces! We will be following La Esmeralda through the farmers markets from now on and hope to visit their Estes restaurant ♥️

There was an EARWIG in my tamale. Fully, intact, dead earwig bug. Happy to send a pic to anyone who asks. Not posting here for how DISGUSTING it was.
We found this spot in Lyons on our way to Estes Park! These tamales are so delish and taste like home to us! Pork was just a perfect blend and so tasty

Not open even though hours posted said they should be open. Drove 15min to get tamales. I see another review stating they aren’t open when they say very often and don’t respond to communication. Giving 1 star for a terrible way to run a business .. despite how good their food may have been

Best Salsa I ever taste it. I will always order it from them. I saw their jar salsa stated 6.00 so I dont know why they charged me 7.00 but I went ahead and paid for it because I love their best salsa.
