The restaurant could have better ambience if the turned down the recessed lighting. So bright it gives off “diner”. I was dining alone so waiter didn’t seem happy to have me taking up his table. Totally understandable. I ordered half Caesar salad and the mushroom raviolis. The salad is bottled dressing so I would not order again. I was worried my dinner might have the same “out of a package” taste but my raviolis were really good. I had to ask for bread. Although the service and salad was not great, I left a 25% tip hoping he treats the next solo diner nicer.

Well, I have been to many restaurants and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed at Mama Roses. Portions were small, food very sun par, overpriced, and the beer tap lines were not working, and this was on Halloween weekend and you would think that they would have this fixed. I know they have a lock down in Estes Park, but they need to fix thing to make it better. Also the restaurant wasn't the cleanest either. This was my experience.

Honestly, the food is awful. I got the angry chicken and chicken parm. They were the same thing with terribly bland tomato sauce drizzled on top. It was dry and just plain awful. We also got the fried mozzarella and Capreese appetizer. The mozz was dry with almost no cheese, very flavorless and the salad was a handful of Tomato's and a couple slices of cheese. No shame or hate for the people who work there, but I could've gotten a much better meal at Olive Garden especially for the price we paid.

Our waiter today was amazing and had us laughing the entire time. Sat outdoors and enjoyed the nice view and weather. Writing this review because the fried mozzarella had the best cheese pull I’ve ever seen!
Worst Italian food ever. Taste like bottled ragu from the store. No flavor at all. Waiter has a horrible attitude and seemed bothered.

The food was well prepared and the waiter was efficient. The wait time was within what I thought was reasonable for the number of people they were serving. Since Estes Park is a resort, expect to pay resort prices.
Never have I felt so uncomfortable with a server as I did tonight. He was snappy, rushing us to order as we arrived, snapped one word answers to questions we had about the menu, generally made us feel as though we had done something wrong! What we had done wrong was choose this place for dinner!
The food arrived very quickly, obviously pre prepared. My fettuccine Alfredo .. the sauce was splitting, the pieces of pasta many stuck together making it very thick , and bland taste . Husbands spaghetti with meat sauce was lacking the meat!
The outside seating was u comfortable, low benches, high tables , even my tall husband felt uncomfortable , for me my mouth was virtually on level with the plate!
A place I would certainly not return to.
