Anton Ego’s Review – Napali Essence in the Rockies
Rating: ★★★★☆
Nestled in the thin air of Colorado’s peaks lies a Napali restaurant that, against all odds, managed to awaken a part of me I believed long dormant.
The aroma—an intoxicating prelude—greeted me like a promise. Smoky, earthen spices carried the memory of distant Himalayan trails, and each dish arrived as if blessed by hands that remember tradition.

The food is amazing and we had a great experience. We even got some stories about Nepal! Everything we got was so good, but the garlic Naan and Tikka Masala were the favorites 😍
I really wanted to love this place — I have a soft spot for family-run businesses and always root for them. That said, if you're in search of a satisfying meal, you may want to keep searching.
The mango curry? It was more like a dessert soup with some confused vegetables taking a bath. The chili chicken arrived looking like it had just completed a marathon swim in oil — and spoiler alert — it wasn’t chili chicken. It was more like Nepali-style fajitas with an identity crisis.
If you're the adventurous type who enjoys oily stir-fry masquerading as something it's not, go for it. Otherwise, your taste buds (and arteries) will thank you for choosing another spot.
Food is ok. Not that great. Expensive
Service is excellent. They treat like family.
Atmosphere is also very nice. Shows culture. Clean place and cozy.
They serve reheated momos and not the fresh ones, half way didn’t even feel like finishing the food.
Chicken biryani was not at all like chicken biryani it was basically fried rice with peas. Food that could be served before are served at the end. Felt like waste of money overall bad experience
This cafe is a must! We started with samosas, which were cooked to perfection. Crispy crust with melt in your mouth softness inside. Then we had the chicken tikki masala and Spicy Chicken Curry. Both outstanding but the spicy curry was the spicy you keep going back for. 10/10
Fast and friendly service. Will now be a necessary dinner every visit.
Nepal’s is a must in Estes Park. The service right when you walk in the door is kind and welcoming, inviting you to sit wherever you’d like. We were greeted with waters to start and given some time to review the menu. Our samosas were so crisp and soft on the inside, you need to order these. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was so incredible and tasted very homemade. My boyfriend got the spicy chicken curry and it turned out great as well. It was the kind of spicy that you come back for more. The garlic naan is a must as well. If you’re looking for a Nepalese/Indian cuisine in EP, this is your place. I will absolutely come back.
Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere! The perfect place to eat after you’ve been hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Aloo Gobi was good. Lacking some spice, but pretty good. Great service.

Review for Nepal’s Café, Estes Park
We had an incredible dining experience at Nepal’s Café in Estes Park! Our family ordered three curry chicken dishes, shrimp chicken biryani, tikka masala, garlic naan, chai tea, and lemonade—and every bite was exceptional.
The food was so delicious we didn’t even pause to take pictures. The staff provided plates for sharing, making it easy to enjoy the meal as a family. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, like being invited into someone’s home kitchen.
If you’re passing through Estes Park and craving authentic Indian food, Nepal’s Café is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended for families and food lovers alike!

From the delicious food, to the kind and attentive staff, to the friendly locals who frequent this Estes Park staple, Nepal's Cafe is like a warm hug from an old friend. We always visit in winter, and this is the perfect little spot to cozy up for a quiet, relaxing meal.
The chili pork is our absolute favorite dish - not just at this restaurant but in all of Estes. That said, everything else we've tried has been delicious. Nepal's Cafe is a must for any visit to Estes Park!

Honestly shocking that Nepal's Cafe doesn't have a higher rating. It's easily the best restaurant in Estes for the price and quality. We make this stop EVERY time we come to town.

This was a gem. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with folded hands. My wife loves chai and she got unlimited refills and even got offered a to-go. The pork noodles is a MUST! Kothe momos and the red spicy chutneys is so authentic and took me back to India/Nepal.
