Honestly, I don't understand how you can call this food Mexican food. I've lived in Colorado for 21 years now. I have had great as well as bad Mexican, but I can't even find the words to describe how bad it was. I had fish tacos that came with cut up tomatoes, lettuce with flavorless sauces. The fish was so tasteless that I was uncertain if it was actual fish. The rice, black beans and pinto beans were also flavorless. My sister ordered the chicken quesadillas with dry/overcooked chicken. Her margarita came out of a machine and mostly sugar. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there (two of us), and have zero training in customer service (one smile can go a long way). I've no idea how this "Mexican" grill stays in business.

Being a vegetarian and on-the-go in Estes Park, I found that options were limited. I decided to check out Peppers. I got a vegetarian burrito. They provide many options for your burrito and a number of different salsas. The burrito is placed within a wrap of your choosing. The food was fine but really nothing spectacular and, at its price point, quite high for what you get. It's a lot of what is very standard taste to me. Something like Chipotle is cheaper and more flavorful. It just felt like something I'd get at a college cafeteria. It's nice to support something local and perhaps other options (especially for those who are meat eaters) on their menu are better but I wouldn't return for the burrito because of its cost for what you get. I was stuck between deciding between a 2-star or 3-star but based solely off this one experience, I'd have to give it a 2-star. I'm not someone who visits Estes Park often but perhaps I'd come again maybe to try the enchiladas or quesadilla or something along those lines on their menu if feeling up for it.

Delicious burritos and nachos that can be customized however you like! The windows look out over the Riverwalk too if you want to sit and watch the world go by.

Great vegan option in Estes! I always get a burrito bowl. They have extensive options including roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, the usual beans and rice and plenty of salsas and other topping options. Delicious and satisfying meal after a day in the park.

Casual restaurant, friendly service, great Mexican food. My wife and I both had today's special, the chicken fajita burrito. Fresh vegetables and grilled chicken, all prepared to order. In and outdoor seating and a rooftop deck. Highly recommended.

I've eaten here several times before and the food is good...... however the old lady behind the counter was very rude not only to our group but to several other groups. I know it was busy but she was very rude and condescending!

This place had really good option for vegetarian meals. We had enchiladas and quesadilla both were amazing, we also enjoyed rooftop sitting arrangement.

I've never had enchilada sauce this hot before and it made the enchiladas inedible. I like hot and so does hubby but this was beyond the pale. It was painful. The buffalo taco was good though. Next time I'll ask for no sauce or order something else.
