Man! So we passed up quite a few places that were closed along the street. Found Poppy’s and stopped in. Menu was extensive! We settled on the cheese and bacon fries to start. CRISPY AS HECK! Cheese wall all over the dish and in layers throughout NOT just on top. Bacon was plentiful. The fires on the bottom were also CRISPY! Loved this app. Got our pizza and wow. Dough was perfect with crispy bottom and chew in the middle! Toppings were generous. Not overly sauced...
Exceeded expectations. My expectations were not high going to this place. I was expecting mediocre food overall. Boy was I wrong. The cheese fries were excellent. And the individual pizza was delicious. Much better than I was expecting.

Parking: I stop at curbside w flashers and walk my elderly friend in, then cross to park in library lot...the parking/walk is probably the only negative for older diners!
