Good Food, Slightly Overpriced for Brunch
River Walk Café in Estes Park is a nice spot for a casual brunch with a great location by the river. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it’s a great place to sit and enjoy the view.
The smoothies were fresh and delicious, and the paninis were well-made with quality ingredients. Everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying. However, the prices felt a bit high for what you get, especially for a brunch spot. While the food was good, it didn’t quite justify the cost.
Overall, if you’re looking for a laid-back café with good smoothies and paninis, this is a solid choice—just be prepared to pay a little extra for the experience.

Went here for lunch based on the reviews on Google and it was OK. The people were nice and the options were solid. The outside seating is less than desirable because half of the tables are made out of wood slats and the items don’t sit very flat. The chairs are also very small and not very stable. The food was decent, I would not say great. A place like this would do well if they had a better potato chip with their sandwiches and a higher-end cheese option. The cheddar cheese on mine was pretty flavorless and I expected the chipotle mayo to be a little spicier. All in all it was a decent meal but again there are a few things that would make this place really really good. Plus, it was kind of expensive for two of us and a couple of drinks and smoothies.

Am I missing something? Food took a while which would have been fine if the result tasted good. Instead my panini was super soggy - like, dripping water? Oil? Everywhere on the patio. The taste was really bland too. Maybe other items are good but skip the mozzarella pesto panini. Will not be returning.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! My husband loves breakfast sandwiches - said the Bigfoot breakfast sandwich was the best he’s ever had. Reasonably priced and so fast. Try this place!!

The turkey panini was fine but shouldn’t be marketed as a panini because all the ingredients were cold. It was like toasted bread with cold cuts straight from the fridge, which was fine but not what I expect when I order a panini, I was expecting a hot sandwich with melty cheese.

We live local and ordered breakfast online. It was okay. The BLT avocado bagel was pretty good. The breakfast burrito was not as good.

This was a great stop for breakfast and coffee on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park. Outdoor seating is dog-friendly, indoor seating is available as well. The bagel breakfast sandwich was outstanding, and the coffee (from Ozo) was very good. Dairy alternatives available. Highly recommended.
