The bison ribs were awesome and the service was great. I liked their tangy and sweet BBQ the most. We tried the appetizer sampler as well. The catfish was just ok and we didn’t really care for the coleslaw but everything else was good. A little dry but still very yummy cornbread. Prices were very reasonable for the area as well.

On March 27, 2024 I had lunch at Smokin Dave's in Estes Park. The food was mediocre (waiter did not ask how I wanted the burger cooked) the sweet potatoe fries were limp. But worst of all, Luis P, my waiter added and another $2 tip on to my bill. I had left him $ 4 on a $17 bill, which was more than 20%. Do not let Luis P wait on you, or pay cash!

Best BBQ this picky eater has ever had! I loved the Cajun chicken sandwich and the hubby enjoyed a plate of various BBQ porks cuts. Fries are perfectly seasoned. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. They know their BBQ!

I have traveled all over the world and the USA. I have had BBQ in Texas, Tennessee and the Carolinas. However this is one of the BEST BBQ places I have ever ate at. The brisket was cooked to perfection, so tender and tasty. Their 4 homemade sauces were all spectacular. I could have eaten their everyday of my trip. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

Friendly staff with little to no wait for a table on a weekday at noon. I expected more from the food. The BBQ wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. Sorry to say I won't be going back.
