The Chicken Marsala is next level. Best I’ve ever had by a wide margin. Nothing else to say. I’m still in shock. It’s that good.

We ordered the House Specisl pizza. Was delicious. Great atmosphere, great service. Have been dining there since 2020. Never disappoints. Price was $26 for med. Pizza, but we couldn't eat it all. Worth the money. We also had mozzarella cheese sticks. The crust and marinara sauce made them Delicious 😋

Brought our family over after some hiking at RMNP, so we were hungry. Every meal was delicious and well portioned, from pizza and calzone to meatball and spaghetti classics. The service was top notch! Not only was our waitress one of the most friendly and attentive people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, but the staff even helped clean my sister-in-law's baby food containers when we went to the bathroom to do it ourselves. Loved coming here and enjoying a good meal, a truly excellent experience.

We only got take out but the pizza was flavorful and filling. Definitely big for the cost. Will definitely come back to eat inside and try the pastas. Friendly staff.

Our new favorite restaurant in Estes Park! Fresh, flavorful Italian dishes with generous portions—try the creamy pesto pasta and wood-fired pizza, you won't be disappointed! Friendly staff, cozy vibe, and elk-view patio. We’ll be back!

On October 18, 2025, our family of 5 adults and 3 children (2 in strollers) was looking for Italian food for dinner and came across SWEET BASILICO CAFE in Estes Park, CO. We did call ahead around 5pm for reservations, but they could not accommodate us until 7:15pm. Hmm, too late for little ones. Was there availability now? YES! We hurried over and found they had pulled two tables together in anticipation of our arrival. We were impressed already. Beer and wine was ordered and arrived within a reasonable time considering the restaurant was already filling up. Our server, Ade, was delightful and attentive to our party of 8. Children's menu choices met our needs. House, Caesar, and Antipasto salads were very good. Ade stayed on top of our food order: Tortellini Crema de Pesto, Lasagna Bolognese, Lasagna Blanco (delicious), an order of meatballs, kids pasta, angel hair with meat sauce. We were quite surprised at the level of service and deliciousness of food at this out of the way Italian restaurant in Estes Park. We finished it off with Tiramisu, Chocolate cake, and Triple chocolate mousse -- all shared between us and fabulous!!! We shared because every bite was met with a delightful moan of deliciousness. We had no choice but to grab a bite of someone's dessert. Our server Ade earned an automatic 18% gratuity (party of 6+) and we added an additional $20 for her attentiveness. All in $219 which we considered a bargain. We will definitely return and bring others with us! Thank you, Ade, for a wonderful experience. Thank you Sweet Basilico Cafe for a terrific Italian dinner. We loved every bite!

We loved the atmosphere and service - cozy and friendly. Sadly, the food was very disappointing. The calamari was so overcooked that it was like cardboard and seemed like something you’d get frozen and was tasteless. The rolls also had no flavor, strangely. The mussels and chicken fettuccini Alfredo were okay but we had 2 lasagnas that were very lackluster. The melted cheese on top of the lasagna was sliced cheese that wasn’t even completely melted.
For the price, this was really underwhelming and we won’t eat here again, especially with so many other good restaurants in Estes.

Absolutely delicious. Had the spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce and it was amazing. The sauce is to die for. Dinner rolls were nice and squishy. Got a dessert to go to bring home. It looks soooo good. After a long day of hiking my meal hit the spot.
