Never stopping there again. Food had no flavor. Service was slow. And my wife found a piece of plastic wrap in her food. Don't recommend it to anyone

Didn’t get to try food. We went in thinking getting some tacos would be quick. Twenty minutes and didn’t even get drink order taken and booth behind us was not happy either. Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the food .

Full service dining ought to be a positive experience, full of positive energy and hospitality. Frankly I can make a meal at home; it’s the experience sets you apart.
Not one person smiled or looked happy to be at their role. The energy inside was that of annoyance; as if the customers were in the way. Hospitality was not a priority. The staff did not speak to us, nearly at all. (Seriously, probably not 30 words the whole time we were there) Not a “welcome in, how many today?” Not a check in after serving the meal, as in “how is everything?” Not a “thank you” at the end…. Nada. Not even salsa with a taco salad!!! How does a Mexican restaurant not provide salsa!?!?
We were HIGHLY bothered by the single waiter eating his personal meal within a foot of the serving window, where customer’s meals awaited to be served. Very gross.
I realize I’m not local, but I’ll never go back.
The less said about the Walmart quality ingredients, the better…. (No seasoning on the beef??)

The place was nice and the staff was friendly but let’s be real you’re here to eat and I would recommend Taco Bell or McDonald’s over this any day. Food was not good unfortunately.

Honestly great. Huevos rancheros, cauliflower tacos, chocolate abuelita all on point. Somehow only a 3.7 average when we came, but if you're familiar with the Freddie Wong yelp scale you already know

The street tacos were delicious and the margaritas on point! Glad we took a chance on this place.

There's a reason this place is the cheapest in downtown Estes (and it's still overpriced).
1) Food was NASTY! I'm from near Mexico so am spoiled, but it doesn't even come close. My mole sauce was 100% out of a can. Super sweet. The beans also came from a can and we're mushy, zero flavor. Do they know what a chili is? For the rice they just added some turmeric and called it a day. Yuck!
2) Waiters are clueless. No help on the menu or knowledge of what comes with what. They'll nickle and dime you too. Stingy on using the restroom. Chips and salsa extra $6. Each side of rice OR beans another $5.
3) Music was about twice as loud as it needs to be. Impossible to hear the people at your table or really think clearly. It felt like club music loudness and was lunch time.
4) All dishes lacked flavor or quality ingredients. Sides were extra. So in all, you'll still pay what everyone else in Estes charges but for way less quality dishes. Pictures online must be old, because the actual food looked bland, sloppy, and just not appetizing at all.

I am extremely disappointed with this place. I am a Spanish speaker and thought it was great at first…. Until I got the check. I asked for a recommendation for a tequila shot and when I went to pay for my bill I found out they served us the most expensive shots at 24 dollars per shot… this would be okay if the prices were displayed on the menu which they are not…. I felt like I was forced to pay way more than I had expected and the waiter was like oh yeah hope this is okay …. At that point it had to be…. You guys have to do better that’s just dishonest

The food is incredible, if you miss Mexico this is definitely your option, I recommend the potatoes with carne asada and the birria tacos.

We were very disappointed in this restaurant and will not be back. The service here was downright awful. Our server didn't seem interested in helping us at all. She was rude and never brought anything that we kindly asked for to the table. We had to go inside and get it ourselves. The food was okay but the carnitas and carne asada meats were very dry and lacked flavor. The atmosphere was interesting. We ate outside on a beautiful fall day, but their patio seemed thrown together with random spray painted items strewn about. I felt like I was in someone's backyard, but without the good homecooked food and friendly hosts.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was subpar. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, which set a negative tone for the entire meal.
The food was another major letdown. The dishes lacked flavor and were poorly presented. It was clear that little effort went into the preparation or quality of the ingredients. Additionally, the portions were small and definitely not worth the price.
To top it all off, the cleanliness of the restaurant floor was full of leaves as you walked in .Overall, I would not recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Wouldn't even give this place one star. Waited over 30 minutes for our food (a hamburger and 5 street tacos) and appetizer to be brought out. A table who was after, and put in their order after was served immediately. We waited an extra 15 minutes, and it wasnt til I went up to the register to ask about our food it was magically ready. I usually am patient, but there was no one eating there. Our waitress treated us like complete trash, and wasn't really interested in helping us either. And after we brought up everything she treated us horribly. I don't know why we even paid for the food, we should be refunded. Don't waste your time here.
