Very very slow service. No chips and salsa. Came in with my family, we sat we ordered our food and drinks. Our food arrived, drinks did not. We ended up having to ask for our drinks about 4 different times before they came. (soda and water). My 5 year old was ready for anything to drink by this point. We had eaten well over half our meals before we had anything to drink. The food was okay.
I’d recommend finding another restaurant to eat at.

The food tastes good, but the service is terrible. I ordered extra tortillas and had to get up to order them and pick them up myself.

10/22/2025. We saw an elk burger on the menu and wanted to try it, sharing it between two of us. The menu said the burger was $18. We added grilled onions and cheese for a dollar additional each and had a real Mexican Coke and a Diet Coke. By the menu that should’ve been $28.50 subtotal. I made the mistake of giving the waitress my card before reviewing the bill. The total came to $34. When we asked why it was so much they said taxes. The point of sale system never gave me an opportunity to request a receipt.

This would have been 19.29% taxes. A quick internet search shows that the Town of Estes Park has a combined sales tax of 8.7%.

The manager was, of course, not available, and so the waitress was left holding the bag. When I expressed my disappointment, she offered to pay me out of her own funds, but I said no. Clearly, their point of sale system has some errors in it that favor the establishment and need to be corrected ASAP!!!

Ordered food online for pickup. Went to pickup my order at the time it said would be ready and they were closed ( an hour early). Never received my food, but was charged. Called to let them know and was told they would take care of it. Checked my card a week later and still charged for it. Had to dispute with my credit card company.

Idk why this place has 3.6 stars. I almost didn’t come because of that but the food is actually SUPER good. This is coming from someone who’s super picky about Mexican food places.

Went there today and had to ask for our chips and salsa, 20 mins later she brought them out right before our food came. Asked for mayo twice, had to ask for side of rice that was ordered and didnt come out. Had to ask for salt. Sat a long time waiting to pay after done eating. Taco meats had a lot of fat. Never got refills on drinks.

Understaffed and food was bland and cold. Plus they hit you with a 4% fee for paying with credit card (not disclosed on the menu).

I went here last night and ordered chips with queso and about 4 tacos. I went home, ate them, and around 2 a.m. I started feeling extremely sick. I ended up in the ER with severe vomiting. This was the only thing I ate all day, so there is no doubt this was the cause. The tacos didn’t impress me at all — they had a strange taste, and the queso tasted odd, almost like plastic.

The service, however, was wonderful. The young lady who greeted me and took my order was extremely kind and prompt — this is absolutely not her fault. I just want to warn others who are thinking of eating here, as the food made me so sick that I had to seek emergency medical care. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Be prepared to wait a long time to not even get your food. Was sat and they promptly forgot we were there, had to get the attention of a staff member to even order. Once ordered, took probably 15-20 mins to get served our chips and guac (was decent, but nothing to write home about) and never got our tacos because ended up leaving cash on the table after waiting a total of 40 mins. I’m not sure how their system is there but it doesn’t work well.

We waited 40 minutes and still didn’t get the 4 tacos we ordered. We just left cash on the table for our chips and guac and walked out. We weren’t the only people to walk out. They forgot we were there for 10 minutes and we had to get their attention to even place an order. After 30 minutes I walked up to ask about our food and they said it was “coming out now”. 10 minutes later still no food. Don’t go here.

Drove up to Estes to play a round of golf. Downtown was horribly over-run with tourists, but we needed some lunch. Found this place and it was amazing! Staff was great, food was great and came out in a short amount of time. Will be coming back when the tourists are gone.

Went in for quick Togo food. Took 30 min to get my food, and the best I can say is it was close to what a fish taco should taste like. The tacos themselves were pretty disappointing for $20. I'm not sure what kind of fried fish it was supposed to be, but I couldn't taste it or really see it on there at all. There was supposed to be a chipotle sauce, but either they forgot it or it was completely devoid of flavor. The black beans were fairly watery, considering they left a puddle in the box and soaked through the tortillas, making them soggy. The rice was rice, nothing special, not particularly any flavor to it. Maybe they have better options that are good, but not the fish tacos.
