I went here last night and ordered chips with queso and about 4 tacos. I went home, ate them, and around 2 a.m. I started feeling extremely sick. I ended up in the ER with severe vomiting. This was the only thing I ate all day, so there is no doubt this was the cause. The tacos didn’t impress me at all — they had a strange taste, and the queso tasted odd, almost like plastic.

The service, however, was wonderful. The young lady who greeted me and took my order was extremely kind and prompt — this is absolutely not her fault. I just want to warn others who are thinking of eating here, as the food made me so sick that I had to seek emergency medical care. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Be prepared to wait a long time to not even get your food. Was sat and they promptly forgot we were there, had to get the attention of a staff member to even order. Once ordered, took probably 15-20 mins to get served our chips and guac (was decent, but nothing to write home about) and never got our tacos because ended up leaving cash on the table after waiting a total of 40 mins. I’m not sure how their system is there but it doesn’t work well.

We waited 40 minutes and still didn’t get the 4 tacos we ordered. We just left cash on the table for our chips and guac and walked out. We weren’t the only people to walk out. They forgot we were there for 10 minutes and we had to get their attention to even place an order. After 30 minutes I walked up to ask about our food and they said it was “coming out now”. 10 minutes later still no food. Don’t go here.

Drove up to Estes to play a round of golf. Downtown was horribly over-run with tourists, but we needed some lunch. Found this place and it was amazing! Staff was great, food was great and came out in a short amount of time. Will be coming back when the tourists are gone.

Went in for quick Togo food. Took 30 min to get my food, and the best I can say is it was close to what a fish taco should taste like. The tacos themselves were pretty disappointing for $20. I'm not sure what kind of fried fish it was supposed to be, but I couldn't taste it or really see it on there at all. There was supposed to be a chipotle sauce, but either they forgot it or it was completely devoid of flavor. The black beans were fairly watery, considering they left a puddle in the box and soaked through the tortillas, making them soggy. The rice was rice, nothing special, not particularly any flavor to it. Maybe they have better options that are good, but not the fish tacos.

DONT RECOMMEND!

Usually I read through reviews and laugh, this time I agree with every one of the negative reviews. Where do I begin?

Unlike some, we were greeted at the door, so that’s a plus. (One of the few I have to share) The experience went down hill after that. The server brought out two waters, the glasses were dirty and had zero ice in them. My wife ordered chips and salsa, $6 extra, not free like most places. The salsa was not mild, it was extremely hot. Not ideal for people who don’t eat spice and for children. The chips had zero salt, no color, some were soft, and it left an extremely poor after taste.

Main course: wife ordered street tacos (all carnita), and I ordered the fajita burrito. Both meals had zero taste. I could have done better making tacos with the generic packets you get at Walmart. Have the cooks ever heard of salt and pepper, let alone Mexican spices? I attached a picture of my burrito. The sauces, the steak, everything involved was bland. Once again these meals left a bad after taste like the chips.

Bill: $48 and change for a soda, chips and salsa, and two main courses. I paid cash, it took him almost 10 minutes to bring my change, and he gave me $11. I don’t care about the coins, but he didn’t bring them.

Service- horrible
Food- beyond horrible
Ambiance/establishment- bad

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am very disappointed on what occurred to me and my family last Sunday. It was a beautiful day in Estes and tacos sounded great! We happened to walk by this place and figured we should check it out. As we walked in we weren’t greeted by the host or servers at all. We waited to get sat and they didn’t even help us sit. A nice little lady near us told us we can seat ourselves so we did . We sat down eagerly waiting for some menus so that we can order some drinks and food. We waited about 15 minutes and still had no service. The gentleman who was serving saw us about 10 times and didn’t even acknowledge us . The young lady up front saw us as well and didn’t even say anything . We ended up leaving because of the service and the disrespect . We wanted to support this place because places like this struggle in Estes but unfortunately we had to get up and go elsewhere. I hope the manager or owner sees this because next time I’m up there I will def come talk to them in person. I am so disgusted.

I had lunch and it was delicious. This is a family owned and operated restaurant that a great selection of traditional Mexican food. You can’t go wrong with what you order. Today I had the chicken and steak combo fajitas. Everything was very well cooked and seasoned to perfection. They also a great selection of drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. This is a great place to bring the whole family to eat. I’ll definitely come again!!!

I wouldn’t recommend Quesadillas from this place. Low quality, tastes bad and overpriced.

We were the only ones there, and the waitress was very attentive. Food came out quick, and guacamole was freshly made.
