The Grubsteak Restaurant

This was a nice find, I was a bit concern given the less than 4 stars review, but it was a nice experience, great service and flavors

I only ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the service. However, the food was spectacular!! I had some habenaro bacon jam burger with a double beef patty. One of the best burgers I've ever tasted! Also had some of the smoked elk sausage with vodka sauce over penne. VERY GOOD and unique. Can't wait for tomorrow night because there are several other options that sound yummy!

Environment was great, really relaxed. On a Saturday around 7 there was plenty of open tables. The food though, was phenomenal. Elk burger was the best burger I've ever had. My husband had the buffalo ribeye, it was so juicy and tender-cooked to perfection, with amazing flavor. Bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant. Great place and a nice variety on the menu. I wish I didn't live 4 states away because I definitely want to go back.

Loved this place. The food was great, the salad was great and I recommend the Guacamole and chips highly.

the Scottish eggs were a great appetizer and the Yak burger was fun and delicious!
the root beer was also very tasty and the staff was very efficient and friendly! dining at the Grub Steak made my visit to Estes complete!

Come for the Happy Hour, 7 days a week, 3-6!

Chili fries were nothing to write home about and the drinks weren't great, but the burgers and chicken fingers were good. Server was pretty absent the whole visit.

My sisters and I had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday in Estes this past weekend. We chose The Grubsteak Restaurant for my special meal. The steak, including ribeye and sirloin, was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The shrimp cigars, stuffed mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks were equally delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and entertaining. Rachel at the bar was particularly remarkable—she was one of the most personable and friendly bartenders I’ve encountered in a while. We even went back the next day to enjoy another drink at the bar and met Joe, who was just as friendly and engaging as Rachel. Engaging in conversations, sharing stories, and laughing together made my birthday dinner truly unforgettable.

Dollar tree milk, condiment packets. Starting off rough...after a very long wait for 2 burgers that didn't even fill the bun...was expecting tasty for the price....but no. Basic cheap burger over priced. Mcdonalds is a better choice. Hole in the wall bar....totally disappoints....

Great atmosphere and food! The staff was amazing and what a unique delicious menu! The beer selection is really cool and loved the appetizers. Had an elk steak that was amazing! Who knew?!?!

I had the elk burger and my son had the shrimp cigars...these were so good. Lots of open air seating and the atmosphere was really cool. Service was good which is hard to find in these mountain towns. Parking was also so easy behind the restaurant. Thats a huge bonus!

When I travel to Estes Park The Grubsteak is a restaurant I always stop by. The food is great, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is fun. It is hard to beat the covered patio in the back during the summer. Who doesn’t like a delicious burger, beer, and hanging out on a patio in the summer. I will continue to patron The Grubsteak!
