Beautiful bar with a ton of options. I didn't see any ghosts, but the whiskey was good.

Another well packaged mediocre and overpriced food experience at the Stanley. The bar was great, well made drinks and nice staff. And as always the hotel atmosphere is beautiful and memorable, however the food was just average, overpriced for the quality and zero anything special.

A distinctly good place to lose your mind. I get why Jack was so entranced
The location is iconic, within the Stanley Hotel. The grounds were really nice and we walked around a little bit. Ended up at the whiskey bar for a drink. Cocktails and service were good. They have a whole binder of whiskeys, well it's more like a whole novel of different types of alcohol. Anyhow we had a fun time and it was a nice excuse to go visit the hotel for the evening.

We were very excited to bring visitors with us to experience The Stanley. Getting drinks at the bar and relaxing on the porch sounded perfect, but the only problem was the bartenders were too busy to acknowledge or serve us. After waiting for awhile and seeing a large group of people that walked up after us receive service, we decided to leave. Love the Stanley, but they need better and more service in the bar.

The drinks were good beautiful day enjoyed our friends and the drinks were great. We had to order from the bar and the bartender was slammed only one person and many customers the bar was full and the outdoor area pretty busy also. Only down fall wanted water and a straw with our drinks but no one to help us out

My husband and each had a great meal. He had the tri meat with venison, elk and bison. Delicious! I had the duck which was equally as delicious!

Great collection of Whiskey and Scotch, more than 300 to choose from. Not very many vegetarian food options though.
We didn't enjoy the food. He ordered dried out chicken and I ordered the fatty porkchop with zero flavor. Fingerling potatoes were good his cabbage stuff was good. Both of our drinks were horrible and couldn't be drank. More then half the dinner and all of yhe drinks were left when we got the check and we weren't asked if the dinner was OK they just cleared the table.
We went to Cascades for our 8th wedding anniversary dinner. We had requested a table by the fire pit that was completely ignored when we arrived after we spoke up about it. We requested wine that was wrong when brought to the table. I ordered the Ribeye and it was undercooked which is ridiculous for $85. They allowed people to crowd the bar area which ended up crowding us with multiple drunk college students. We had such high expectations for this restaurant and were extremely disappointed leaving. We spoke to management who compt half my steak. We will not be returning or recommending to others coming to stay at the Stanley Hotel.

I had the Wagyu steak and it was overcooked. My boyfriend who had asked for his cooked medium, got the rare they must've mixed up the temperatures our waitress was basically nowhere to be seen and if they're that understaffed, that is a problem the dessert was good. The drinks were late. The appetizer was all right, but overall having spent $366. I would've honestly expected better service, quicker service, and correct temperatures on meat.
Horrifically overpriced due to the novelty of the hotel. Hostess was spacey & had to be nudged in order to be seated (with a reservation!). Food was Applebees quality, if that. The only positive highlight was the beer I had from Estes Park brewery. I would avoid wasting your money here, I definitely regret it.
Our reservation was for 7 and we were promptly seated. Our salads were so fresh and delicious. We split a steak and had sides of garlic potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. Our server was so informative and friendly. Well worth the price.
$10 to park!?! Seriously? I realize the Stanley is a novelty, but that's outrageous...and the parking lot was not paved and rough...full of potholes. The serving staff was slow and nit very accommodating. The food took 45 minutes to reach the table after we ordered...with no apology for the long wait. Oh, did I mention this was lunch and not dinner. Please! On the upside, the food was excellently prepared. French dip and tomato bisque. Then, our slow waiter tried to slip an extra tip on us! I'll never go back...and you should look somewhere else.
Food was excellent! The only complaint I have is, we were originally seated at a high top and we asked to be seated at a lower table. The guy that seated us was able to put us at a table in the next room, but the waitress was extremely rude! The waitress was questioning the guy about why we were being seated there, etc. and had no problem with us over hearing or knowing that she wasn't happy that we were being seated there. Thank God we got another waiter. Other than that, very good!
