We scheduled Thanksgiving Dinner here and I cannot understate how TERRIBLE the service was. We made reservations, were sat by the kitchen instead of the main dining room and when the vegetarian options ran out were told just tough luck even when 4 people in our party were vegetarian. When I asked the manager if we could just pay for the few of us that ate and leave to another restaurant that had more options for half of the guests that were vegetarian he told me if I did not pay for the food that was on the table he would call the police. I was aghast that one he had the audacity to threaten me and two, he did not even try to make amends for the lack of vegetarian food that was supposed to be there. We only booked here because of their vegetarian options. If I could give an even more negative review I would. It was terrible. I couldn’t even eat after being threatened but still paid the exorbitant price for the buffet. The management and staff completely ruined the entire meal. Will never dine here again.

I got the Oscar's style filet mignon which featured crab meat and asparagus, and a cinnamon roll for dessert.
In short, it's over priced for what you get.
The crab meat was mediocre at best but the filet mignon was delicious (cooked medium).
The cinnamon roll (pictured) was disappointing. You could tell it had been microwaved because half of it was still cold.
Service was good, depends on who you get, though.
We went at 7:30pm on a Friday evening and the place was dead, so not sure if it's better during the day. The menus didn't match the decor, in my opinion, and had many misspellings.
Would not return.

I found a small bit of glass in my dinner: like a shard from something that broke.
Not the end of the world until the host was aggressive with me about it. He insisted it was sea salt and brought back the plate the waitress had take with glass in it for me to eat it anyway. After I insisted several times he removed the plate and had a new meal made.
No apologies, no comps, cool air of bad service.
The place is weird to start, food was okay, the glass killed it.

My first review of… anything, not to do so would be an insult to a truly delightful staff And experience! Staff: not a single staff member lacking a smile, not the standard painted on type, genuine gracious smiles. Food: I had simple, she has slightly more complex, both simply delightful. The difference is in the details for us. Syrup served in a decanter, not a 1 oz packet, butter packets in the dish were plentiful, pineapple mimosa served DIY as a bottle and simply the best seasoned pineapple sauce I have ever had. All others from this day forward will be judged against that one! Menu: An event in itself trying to narrow down what is getting ordered, this completely covers the full range of wishes! Sunday Estes breakfast is a simple but special event for us, we now have a new welcoming favorite place to go! We made reservations for the Thanksgiving Brunch the moment we got home from breakfast. Thank You for the smiles!

Restaurantji Recommends
The food was very lacking in flavor and quantity, especially for the cost. The filet was like chewing a new York strip and was not to size as advertised. The crab meat on both the Oscar topping and on my wife's halibut was sour. The asparagus was thinner than shoestring French fries. Our waitress wreaked of a massive amount of cheap perfume. With 2 kids and my wife and I it cost over $160 and it was not worth a 1/4 of that.

We had a lovely breakfast at the Wayfinder this morning. Our server, Larissa, was attentive and pleasant, always with a smile. I had the Farmers Benedict which was basically a veggie Benedict with sundried tomatoes for a nice touch. The side of potatoes were perfectly roasted. My husband had a basic egg and bacon meal that was very good. Their coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice was great. I would highly recommend. We were only disappointed that they only seat dinner guests riverside. For breakfast, you get the parking lot view.
