This is my go to spot for people watching, liquor sipping & immersing myself into the Estes Park vibe. It's extremely laid back & stays busy with both locals & tourists.

What a great place to have drink

Best bar in Estes by far. Really nice beer selection and a lot of local breweries in the mix at reasonable prices. Sat at the bar and enjoyed great service in a classic darker interior ambiance that worked out great on a blistering hot day . Lots of things to keep you entertained from shuffle board , pool and fuse ball tables. Didn’t realize until we were leaving that they also have an outside patio near the river that would be nice on a cooler day . Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

What can I say about the Wheel, that hasn't been said so many times? It's awesome with awesome bartenders!

Everybody I have talked to has said this is THE dive bar in Estes Park. I was here out of season so it was a little bit dead, but I can see the appeal if it were a bit busier. Seems to have a lot of history. It has all of the dive bar amenities: cheap drinks, two pool tables, shuffleboard, jukebox. I don't think it had any bar food. Also had a cool downstairs room with a fireplace, but that was not being used.

Classic local’s dive bar with pool tables & wraparound bar (with arm rests? More places should do this.) Cold beer and any spirit you could want. The vintage decor was so unique- definitely worth checking out. And if you’re complaining about Wheel Bar, it’s not for you.

Bartender appeared to be visibly drunk, had us move down 10’ to serve us even though the two chairs in front of us were flipped up. Ordered an old fashioned and drunk bartender stated they didn’t have the ingredients. Apparently bourbon and simple syrup don’t exist here, even though they have multiple cocktails with all the ingredients. Went with an modelo instead, individuals inside def seem deuschy, wouldn’t even recommend this place to my ex mother in law. Raunchy and trashy to say the least.

I don’t think they have food but have 5 stars on that cuz it asked. Visited this bar from Florida Jen served us first and was awesome. Then they had a shift change and Caleb was great too. My friend ended up getting shwasted and we successfully ubered there but couldn’t find one to take us back and Caleb called a cab for us, which not gonna lie I was worried about that but he took us home no issues lol. Highly recommend cool little bar. They said it was the “diviest” bar in town when I asked but by far the fanciest dive bar I’ve ever been to 😅 I’ll for sure go back when I visit again!

My husband and I had an our semi private after party at the Wheel Bar for our wedding weekend. Ty was great work with and plan everything that we needed. We rented the upstairs and downstairs portion (we had about 100-120 people) who were potentially coming through to have a drink. The bar staff was amazing and lovely. It was such a good atmosphere with great music. 10/10 recommend for a good time.

Cool place but not for watching a game. A few small TVs—-but despite Broncos playing in prime time half of the TVs were playing a Dodgers baseball game.
