Tourists Beware! Apparently this is a townie bar. Im a tourist in town for a couple nights so I stopped in to have a beer. This was Monday 9/29, and the Broncos-Bengals game on MNF had just kicked off. There were about 8 people at the bar and 2 bartenders. I grabbed an open seat at the bar, and had to wait a good 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. No menu or draft list was offered so I had to ask about a local beer on tap and was given the name of the brewery. Nothing about the beer, no offer of a taster.
The beer was good and I would have ordered another, but neither bartender asked if I wanted anything else.
All the other customers seemed to be local and got great service.

Went in mid day just for a drink sat at the bar. Didn't even get acknowledge sat the for close to 10 minutes got up and walked out. Went half a block up the street to The Slab where we were greeted with smiles and got served immediately!
Old drunk bartender with a yellow shirt and beard was extremely disrespectful and cursed at me. Why are they letting a drunk serve liquor. He can’t even speak a complete sentence. Got hostile because I wasn’t ready to order a drink. Don’t waste your time or money here. Terrible atmosphere, music and service. Bartender with a hat was cool but doesn’t make up for the bad experience.

SHOUTOUT TO DYLAN!! Dylan and Jesse are the perfect duo!! Such a sweet and genuine bartender! Super attentive, kind, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. You can tell they really care about the people they serve. Loved the vibe!

We had our wedding after party here in July 2025 and it was the BEST! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the set up was easy and met the dive bar aesthetic we were looking for. The owner and managers were great at communicating before and after the event and made sure that we had a great time the night of our wedding. We highly recommend Wheel Bar for just a casual fun night in Estes or an affordable event!
