Exceptional food and staff! The team was super hospitable and sweet, and the tortilla soup was amazing on a cold night. Will definitely come again!

Great little gem in the beautiful and friendly town of Fairplay. The food was great quality and service was wonderful and attentive despite a busy full house on a Friday night!

First time in FairPlay Colorado and wanted to have a good meal and this place is not the place my hard taco didn’t have meat I had a spoon full of beans and my sons carne asada tacos were so burnt he couldn’t eat them and 2 tortillas for 2 pieces of meat I’m from Arizona so maybe I expected great food but don’t get what I hoped for

Restaurantji Recommends
I pretty much never go out of my way to leave a poor review but this place definitely needs exposed, the reviews are very misleading. To start the margarita was nearly clear as water with how poorly it was made..I’m not sure it could even be labeled as an alcoholic beverage at all, let alone a margarita. The salsa appeared to be some of the best I’ve seen visually but unfortunately fell short, barely having any flavor at all. There regular style tacos came with uncooked/raw soft tortillas like Taco Bell would serve but worse. The quesabirria tacos surprisingly were decent for what they were but had to ask for both lime and the dipping sauce/stew all birrias always come with normally. This place may be alright for the wonderful small town it’s based out of but I would never recommend it.
Colorado is filled with some of the best Mexican based restaurants I’ve had across the Midwest but this place is the furthest thing from even okay. We didn’t finish nearly anything we ordered and just ended up calling it a loss.

Excellent and authentic. Really enjoyed the covered outside dining. I had the green chile burrito with chicken. This was a busy weekend with the Aspen trees at peak viewing. Really was fantastic to have decent food....many thanks!

The food was by far some of the most original and delicious food I've had in my 12 years in the Denver Colorado area. Our server was so nice, food was quick, and portions are HUGE!! You will not be disappointed!

I was driving through Fairplay and caught a hint of mexican food. I followed my nose straight to Casa Sanchez.
I was not disappointed.
Food was great.
People were even better.
Will definitely be back.
The salsa was my favorite part and that is saying something because the food was so good.
