I broke my general rule for all holidays and went to the store for a few things I forgot some things this year. The local Starbucks inside Safeway on Mclaughlin rd was open. Pretty standard and straightforward coffee. They haven't changed drinks in years. I guess stick with what works. No innovation or creativity. Spend at local coffee shops, they have better options.
My favorite part to visiting this starbucks is the people. They are always so friendly, and when I am just not sure what I want they are always helpful. Yesterday I was totally not craving a coffee but I wanted something. I got a hot chocolate with rasberry and omg that was sooo yummy. The temp outside was -10F and that chocolate hit the spot and warmed the bones. The smile and friendliness at the drive thru however was even warmer. Totally loving the experience!
