What a little gem of a coffee shop! Just in time for fall, I ordered the sweater weather and let me just say, absolutely top notch, better than the big coffee shops! What a gorgeous view of Pike’s Peak too, with lovely, quiet ambiance. Absolutely check this place out if you love coffee! I enjoyed it so much, I’m going to sport one of their super soft tanks!

Quaint little spot. It is decorated nicely and has places to sit inside and out on the balcony. We tried the flavored lemonade and the Silly Sully (which I loved!). We had Pizza, which technically is from Cap's, but you order the pizza from Cap's and the drinks from Wild Horse at the same place. It's not completely clear where you need to go, but there were friendly people available that pointed the way. If you walk down along the building, under the covers porch, then enter and walk back into the lodge, you'll come to a staircase on your right. Wild Horse Cafe and Cap's Pizza are both accessible downstairs from that set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, you'll circle around a large fireplace in the center of the room to get to the counter.

Stopped by for coffee on our way to Hartsel and discovered this hidden gem. The venue offers a place for retreats and has a coffee shop with pizza on the weekends. The food smelled amazing and they had a LOT of options for their coffees and drinks. We plan on taking our daughter in a couple of weeks so we can enjoy the pizza on the balcony.

There was only one person working, and she was wonderfully friendly. My coffee came in a huge mug and was delicious, with plenty of great alternative milk options. The patio view was absolutely beautiful. I wasn’t hungry this time, but the food looked and smelled so good—I’ll definitely be back to try it.
We found it! Off the beaten path, well worth the drive! We ordered chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was delicious. Probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. The frozen lemonade were yummy, also!
