Delicious little discovery whilst making our way further west. Needed a good meal and took a chance on this recently opened place. We got what we were looking for too and look forward to stopping in again the next time we are in the area. Super friendly staff. Sorry to hear about your dog, but glad we could help your migraine. The food here was really good and the staff was incredibly friendly! It was very busy when we arrived so it took a while to get our food, but it was worth it! Small outdoor seating area is dog friendly but be aware that there are some local huskies that roam the restaurant freely. They're super sweet but if your dog doesn't love dogs off leash, just be aware.
Absolutely the best food and service of all the places we stopped along our cross country road trip. Wonderful place! I hope I get the chance to come back!

I love hometown diners. Food was great and there was plenty of it, too. Biscuits and gravy, homemade hash browns and chicken and waffles were delicious! One waitress took care of the whole place and she did it very well!

On our way back from Alamosa, and decided to give the Mountain View Diner a shot. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and the prices were exceptional. We had the cheeseburgers, and they were delicious as were the french fries. We also had a side salad, and you could tell that they make the ranch dressing and not bottled. We also ordered 2 cinnamon rolls, they were absolutely delicious. You could tell they were homemade. The atmosphere was very pleasing and homie. Our waitress, Star was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. She served us with a smile on her face. Would definitely like to come back when we're back in the valley.

Great food, and our waitress was great. Ate supper and went back the next morning for breakfast. Both were great. Definitely recommend. And yes the shrimp is delicious and also great huspuppies. My husband had the marinated chicken and he loved it. The breakfast was also top notch.
