Build your plate. I had brisket, hot links, okra and fries. This is the best restaurant okra I’ve ever had. Being from Mississippi, I know fried okra. The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.

Good food; terrible customer service.
The gentleman who served me seemed like he would have rather been anywhere else on earth. No smile, no greeting, nothing. Looked grouchy when he saw me walk in the door. He was noticeably exasperated whn he had to repeat himself because I didn't hear him ask which sauce I wanted and did not ask if I wanted to add anything to my order after packing the meat. He was annoyed when I requested to add dessert and bread. He started ringing up the order as quickly as possible, it seemed like he just wanted to get me out (there were no customers behind me btw). I would have ordered more but I felt like he didn't want to serve me and I was starting to want to get out of there asap.
The food is good other than being a little dry. I would eat it again if I don't have to place the order.

I’ve been here once for DoorDash and I watched the worker touch the tv with his glove then touch fries for a customer. And the place is so dirty. The fan is so clogged with dirt it’s not even funny. I wouldn’t eat here if it was the last place on earth.

I ordered to pick up. When I got home the brisket had a hair on it. I called the store and spoke with a gentleman, when I told him I found a hair he said “ok”, that’s it no apology or nothing. Last time I will be visiting this restaurant

Wow!!! I love this place. The 3 staff serving me up we're all FANTASTIC and all the food tasted Amazing! Bri was so Helpful and thoughtful with helping me place such a big order! My only suggestion would be to NOT place the hot baked beans on top of the coleslaw...

I bought $75 dollars up there, I asked for chopped because we are elderly,got home the meat was not chopped,had to chop it all up so we could eat it. The meat was tough.was going to get peach cobbler,but it was very dark no peaches,and dry,looked like it had been setting there for a long time. When I said no to getting it the blonde lady that did not chop the meat got a attitude towards me, You can keep your tough meat,you can keep your ,peach cobbler that sets out until it is dryed up.I want be back,so blonde lady you need an attitude adjustment to work with people like you do.I will go to Dickies,they chop the meat,and they are very friendly.

I ordered 1/2 lb brisket and thought it strange a place that sells meat by the weight doesn't have a scale. I have a digital scale at home, as I weight my proteins. It was short by 3.5 ounces of meat which does matter when it's expensive and throwing off my meal prep. They should stop eyeing it and actually weigh the meat.
