I love this place! We crave this place a lot and it never disappoints. Their brisket and pulled pork is so delicious. My partner likes the extra hot sauce and has even bought a jar and he pours it on everything! The Mac n cheese and potato salad is amazing, and so is the fried okra. The apple crumble is soooo delish. Our family from out of town always requests this place when they visit. Their staff is incredibly friendly, we always leave the place so impressed with their customer service.

We’ve ordered takeout here quite a bit and it’s consistently great. Today was our first time sitting down and eating in. The quality persisted, and the customer service did not disappoint! Very family friendly, and they have a great respect for active duty/veterans.

We ordered a little bit of all the meat. Our favorite meat was the pulled pork as it had flavor. The turkey and brisket were almost indistinguishable in flavor. The sausages were decent. The BBQ sauce was really tasty and the spicy had a decent kick to it. We tried the Mac and cheese which was ok. We had the peach cobbler which was very good and very sweet. We had some onion rings which were quite delicious and crunchy. We ordered some fries and they were thick cut boys that were good, crunchy and hot. The price was not too bad for the spread of food we got. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Military discount is available. Plenty of seating indoor and some outdoor. Restroom was clean.

Ordered for Uber delivery half a chicken and one brownie the chicken was dry and the brownie was hard and stale. Very disappointing. Just the other day I went to bird dog barbecue on Centennial and Garden of the gods that chicken was very juicy and the brownie was soft and very fresh I don’t care how far I have to travel I will never order from bird dog in fountain.

My first time eating here and it was for a going away luncheon such a disappointment. The brisket was shredded had zero flavor. The pulled pork sandwich was dry zero flavor tasted the same as the brisket. The bread was subpar hamburger buns.The dirty plywood seating had a coat of grease it seemed like. If your looking for chain type BBQ hands down go to Rudy's BBQ..The BBQ is fresh chopped in front of you establishment is clean and the prices are better. I will never return to BIRD DOG BBQ and I already let all my military friends know. I can see why the establishment was empty with plenty of seating and this is during lunch hour.

Came in for lunch during the week. No rush or wait. Staff were friendly. Sandwich portion size was generous. However, the brisket was cold, dry, and unseasoned. One BBQ sauce option at the table. Personally, I found the Mac & Cheese to be too watery & not worth $4/scoop. Seating was not comfortable. I just wanted to eat quickly and leave, since I knew I wouldn't be back. Maybe I wasn't there on a good day.

This place has the BEST bbq around! They catered our wedding last year and we still drive down from the Denver area to CO Springs to enjoy their delicious food. It is always consistent and we usually have leftovers because the portion sizes are huge. The turkey is always tender & juicy, the Mac & cheese and baked beans are incredible! You can’t go wrong ordering anything here!
