That was the fastest service I've ever experienced in the 3 years of being here...way faster and better to just go inside instead of waiting twice as long in the drive through and being stu k half way on the road and in the parking lot...they really need to re do their drive through and have it go around the other way and exit out the front.
I'm sure it's either because they are understaffed, the only ice cream shop in fountain or their location but this dairy queen is always slow and backed up. The food usually turns out right and ice cream orders aren't usually wrong. It is just always a wait whether it is inside or in the drive thru. When you go, plan on waiting at least 30 minutes if there are 4 or more cars in the drive thru and some in the parking lot. The staff isn't rude or anything though...
Was quite a hot day, went inside got 2 meals for my 12 y/o and myself. And had non dairy treats afterwards so as not to have milk products in our stomachs on such a hot day. Hung in the store for a good while so we could enjoy our motorcycle ride when it got a bit cooler in the evening.
