Last night, something truly beautiful happened at Luchal’s. I went in expecting a night of food, music, and good vibes — but what I received was something far deeper: community, kindness, and connection in the purest form.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest energy. The people — the beautiful souls that filled that space — were so sweet, open, and encouraging. Everyone made me feel like I belonged, like family. It's not every day you find a place that feels like a hug.
As the night went on, something magical unfolded: a group of men paid for our food anonymously and disappeared before we could even thank them. Then the owner, with a heart bigger than words can capture, covered our drinks — not even knowing who we were. It was a gesture that moved me to tears. This wasn’t just hospitality. This was love in motion.
And when I got up to sing karaoke, y’all… the love I felt from that crowd? It was soul-shaking. They clapped, they cheered, they lifted me. I’ll never forget that moment.
At the end of the night, the owner — whom I had wanted to meet from the beginning — came over to our table. I finally got the chance to congratulate her on what she’s built: not just a business, but a sanctuary. I asked if I could share my handmade hair product samples — and without hesitation, she said yes. Then she offered me a corner to set up a whole table. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude, I cried.

OWNER sat us at a table for an event. An hour later they needed the table for “bottle service”. Owner did not speak to us directly and made no accommodations. Had security deliver the message despite not getting our food or drinks. I’ve been a loyal customer, but not anymore. Ee got there early to ensure a seat and then were told stand or leave. Poor business.
The quality of food and service is one of the best in town! I highly recommend!

We had a group of 11 people for brunch and had a fantastic time. Jalen took amazing care of our entire group and we are already planning our next trip there! We really wanted to support a Black owned business and Luchals was the perfect spot to support!

My husband and I came here on opening weekend and figured the slow service and cold sides were due to just getting their stuff together. But we are months in and, although the food is still AMAZING, the wait staff is slow and unnatentive still (they barely check on you and it takes a while to get drinks/orders filled). Also, the timing of the kitchen still needs work. My entree shouldn't be piping hot and then my sides be Luke warm or even cold. It makes bomb food not taste as good, ya'll. Definitely needs some more work! Just happy the food is always good!

The chicken tasted like fish but the waffles were good. The service was subpar. Order an appetizer and got it with the meal. The music was too loud and could not hear who I was with without saying what a lot. Also could not hear the server very well. The bathrooms were not stocked with what you need to do your business or dry your hands. The food was good but with the service or lack of and lack of toiletries and not able to hear the server, I will would not recommend to a friend.

I could not even control myself from eating to snap a picture. Everything was cleared off everyone’s plates. 10/10 and a wonderful experience all around. Food honestly was honestly the best I have ever had.
Saw this restaurant on TikTok and it gave what needed to be given. Visiting from Fl and they have a new customer. Food amazing and flavorful. Drinks not watered down. Service was A1.

Had Sunday brunch here. Fried fish, shrimp & Mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and so much I had leftovers. Great music, attentive service, large room with a cute lounge room as well as outside seating with heat. Spoke to one of the owners and everyone was very friendly. I will definitely be back and share the experience. Real food cooked well.
