It was okay, wasn't anything special to be honest. I can't see my self going here again.
Bro food was just awful. Like legit regret eating there.. But they do have fun events
I couldn't eat there because there were no plant based burgers or anything vegan. The service was, and is, always slow so it wasn't worth waiting for just to have some onion rings, which i could've tried, but didn't feel like waiting that long. The back patio is nice for dogs. This was my third time trying to go here, the last two times I just left because it took too long waiting to order a beer. I wanted to love this place but I can't.
Rookies Taphouse and Eatery is a solid five-star experience! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is buzzing with good vibes – perfect for catching a game or just hanging out. The staff is super friendly and always on point with recommendations.
But let's talk about the food, seriously delicious! Their burgers are juicy and loaded with flavor, and the appetizers are perfect for sharing (or not!). Plus, they have a great selection of beers on tap, so there's something for everyone.
Honestly, whether you're a local or just passing through, Rookies is a must-visit!
“Hidden gem in Fountain – amazing food, great service, and chill vibe!”
We stopped into Rookies on a whim and were seriously impressed. The wings were hands-down some of the best I’ve had in Colorado—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Their beer selection was solid, and the bartender gave great recommendations (shoutout to Sammie!)
What really stood out was the atmosphere—clean, relaxed, and not overly loud. You can tell the staff actually cares. Our server was super friendly and checked in often without hovering.
Whether you’re looking for a good local spot to catch the game, hang with friends, or grab a casual dinner, this place nails it. Definitely coming back!
Went to Rockies for the first time yesterday just to have a prejudiced bartender so seemed annoyed to even be serving me. I’ve never came to a bar with prices like a steak dinner restaurant and drinks like we’re at a nightclub. The manager or what seemed to be the manager looked like she hated her job let alone couldn’t smile instead just stares and whispers about customers. Worst place to stop to have a drink unless you’re white. Never will come back to be looked at like I don’t belong. On top of to be told to go to the restroom to get a cup of water.
Didn’t even get to try the food. Arrived only to be told they’re closing an hour earlier and they’re only offering fried foods. Only fault was they closed the kitchen 90 min early.
Strong drinks, great food ❤️
I love coming to Rookies, every time I see France she knows what’s Gucci, the food is great everyone here is fabulous.
Food was AMAZING! I got the steak and for the price it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly from the hosts to the bartender, they really make you feel welcomed. And some of the best mules I’ve had

The old management and morning bartender were terrible and had awful attitudes. The new management/owner is so much better.

The food is great when you go in. However if you order for pick up prepare for undercooked meat and soggy bread/fries. Also if you have had gall bladder surgery and you get the sensitive tummy DO NOT EAT lol you will be very sorry and very sad. Otherwise its an okay place.

Rookies is one of the only going out locations in Fountain, which is probably their strongest trait. You would think a "tap house" would have a list of their beers at the very least but they do not. Karaoke Saturdays is okay, however the crowd at Rookies is boring and not very fun, which can make performing there unpleasant. All in all, it's not a bad spot for a drink and a bite to eat, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired.

I have been coming here for the last 18 months off and on. This place used to be better I don’t know what happened. 1) came in on sat 9Nov at noon and the place smelled like sewage. 2) it’s Saturday, with a name like rookies I would assume the place would prioritize live sports. Big tv was playing the replay of Thursday night nfl (see picture).
