Shipley Do-Nuts

Haven't visited a Shipley's in years and it was a bit disappointing. Doughnuts were small and not great. They've changed. . .

Their cream filled are absolutely nothing like the pictures. The jelly had an acceptable amount of filling. The vanilla had about 10% of the amount of filling you typically get elsewhere, one bite had a small smear but I couldn’t taste it (no cream bulging from the donut end, as pictured). Seriously…the “filled bar” maple had NO filling. Why call it a “filled bar” if it’s just a big bar of dough with some frosting that makes it very thick to eat. Give your customers more filling in the donuts.

Robin was awesome. I came in with the kids and she saw us in the parking lot having a Karate fight. When we came in she gave the kids a donut each for winning the fight. Very friendly and helpful in choosing our Kolache flavors. The prices weren't bad either.

My experience was great! The donuts had great flavor. Robyn served me and she was very sweet. She was kind soft voice and made great conversation while taking my order. Employees all seemed happy to work there.

They were so accommodating for my large kolache order, I was SO HAPPY to learn that there is a Shipley’s location just 40 minutes down the road from Pueblo. After moving to Colorado from Texas 12 years ago, this was a dream come true! I will be a repeat customer!
