Safeway in Fountain is an absolute joke of a store. I think they are deliberately trying to go out of business when the new grocery store opens. I absolutely HATE the new digital coupons that never work right and waste my time. Carts are rarely restocked, even when the store isn't busy. Produce often has issues with mold or bruises. Most annoyingly, they absolutely insist on only ever opening one check-out lane in their never ending quest to force everyone to use self check out. Self-check out SUCKS!!! There's not enough room, it's cramped and awkward, and if you use any coupons or sales stuff, 9 out of 10 times you have to wait for the clerk to help anyway. The store is ALWAYS dirty and damaged. All of this would be tolerable if the prices were low, but they AREN'T! It's literally the most expensive grocery store in Colorado. I cannot wait until the other nearby grocery store opens. I will NEVER waste another dime or second in this atrocious garbage overpriced joke of a grocery store.

Bad Bad Customer Service with Michelle on multiple occasions. Today I went to EXCHANGE a pack of paper towels because I mistakenly bought select a size, upon telling Michelle the case she asked if I had a receipt which I didn't and she proceeded to make a frowning face, so I told her I use the app and I'm pretty sure my receipt is on my app. She cut me off mid sentence and said that won't show up for her, and she couldn't pull it up. I explained that I could pull the receipt up on my app which I did. I showed her the digital receipt and she said because the item was bought at south academy I couldn't exchange them. Now mind you, this is the same corporation with the same prices in the city. Just as if I were to buy something at Walmart, Target I can go to any location for a exchange or refund, so yeah what she said was a bunch of BS. I then went to another Safeway in the city and asked to exchange and and was given no trouble at all. I asked about what I was subjected to at the Fountain store and was told that was not the way to handle an exchange. Not to mention the majority of the time when something is on sale, the Fountain location is the first store to run out which forces customers to travel to other Safeway in the city for sale items. I have also contacted corporate to address this because I believe she had made up her mind not to help me as soon as she saw me.

There is a new staff member, didn’t catch their name but she?he was amazing!! So upbeat and friendly! It has been the first time in a looooong year that my drink tastes just how it is supposed to taste. Usually it’s bland or not correct, I don’t complaint anymore since I get the response of “that’s how I got trained to make it.” By some blonde hair barista. Who seems like you’re asking her to run a mile when you ask her to make a frap. Anyway, please please keep this new employee!

The store is listed as closing at 7 pm, however the worker decided to close early on her own. Mind you the other closest Starbucks is closed for renovations. Bad business.
