They don’t don’t have nachos con queso. They literally melt cheese on nachos and call it nachos con queso and charge you for it. The worst Mexican spot in the Fountain area. Don’t waste your money here. Terrible customer service and a disgrace to Mexican food! 0 stars!

My family and I often go to tacos del Gordo since they opened. We had yet to have any issues at all. We enjoy the food and typically get the carnitas plate. It's always been delicious but today, I ordered the carnitas plate for lunch(to go) and was so disappointed. I completely understand that carnitas itself is made with fatty pork meat, but all the fatty pieces don't have to be served. And as I kept eating I just keep finding more and more. And not small pieces, huge chunks! They're serving it without a care. They see it as it's going on the plate and they don't bother taking out the really huge chunks. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because my overall experience hasn't been like this before.

Usually this place is my go to for Mexican takeout. Unfortunately last night me and my family while eating the food started feeling sick, we all ended up with a heavy Food poisoning. So just watch out and be careful!

Over all pretty good for Mexican food. It can be a bit overpriced, but what isn't now in days. The quality is good and they serve you fast. Tacos de carne asada are my favorite, and the burritos are so big they'll fill you up.

I grew up in a home where my mother grew peppers, She grew serrano and jalapeño peppers. She grew them hot and i have not found a single resteraunt that could come close to matching that heat untill i ordered from this place. You want salsa? Come with juevos because it will have heat. Do you know how many times I have ordered horchata and it has not come with a churro? Thai place puts others to shame because the horchata is refreshing after they heat you up with the hot salsa and it even has a churro that comes with. The chips are homemade and crispy, perfect for the the heat of their salsa.
You want to know how good this place treated me? They gave me bothe verse and rojo salsa and I didn't specify. Both were delicious but i like the verde better but to be fair it reminds me of my mothers pepper relish, otherwise both are beautiful.
