Unexpected that this was a take-out window in a brewery. Very happy to have found it. Several of us shared chicken, pickles (like cucumber salad) and papaya salad. Flavors, the fried chicken, the dipping sauces all excellent. Chicken was served with a bunch of cilantro, rice, the pickles. Great beer options and seating. Very pleased. Will definitely visit again when skiing Copper or when in Frisco!

The food is so so good. (And admittedly slightly overpriced) Bird Craft was one of my, and my girlfriend’s, favorites for years. We visited AT LEAST once a month for more than two years, and both got excited over going every time we did. The past two times that we’ve gone though, we’ve had to turn around and leave after trying to order. My girlfriend is vegetarian, and every single time she has ever ordered from Bird Craft, (at LEAST 20 times literally) she has gotten the chicken sandwich with tofu subbed for the fried chicken. Every single time, the person taking her order has made sure to inform her that while that is no problem, the tofu will be in cubes instead of a patty. This has, of course, always been fine. I’ve also brought my parents a couple times, and both of those times, my Mom also got a chicken sandwich with tofu. The past two times though, we’ve been told, vehemently, that they don’t do that and never did. I don’t know if there’s new owners or what, but it’s extremely frustrating to be told that they don’t and never have done essentially the only thing my girlfriend has ever ordered for more than two years. Even if it were true and we hadn’t ordered exactly that more than 20 times, it would be absolutely ridiculous to refuse to put the tofu you have prepared in the kitchen already on a $20 sandwich instead of chicken. This most recent time, the girl taking our order stepped behind a wall and pretended to call someone on her cell phone before reasserting to us that they were unable to do that and never had. I’m not going to argue with people at their job, so we’ve just left both times we’ve been told this. It bums both of us out super hard, but we won’t be wasting our time visiting again if we can’t order the dishes that made us love Bird Craft.

The fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. The pork belly fried rice is also outstanding.

Located inside Outer Range, Bird Craft serves up tasty Asian inspired rice bowls. They were super friendly and accommodating. Our girls wanted plain tofu with rice- not a problem! The tofu was lightly breaded and lightly salted on top of white rice. Perfect for the girls to dip in soy sauce. My hubby had the poke bowl with spicy shark sauce and I had the tofu veggie bowl with their Siracha sauce. Those Fresno chilis pack a spicy punch! All was delicious and complimented our Outer Range beers. Keep up the good work Bird Craft!

Excellent food for takeout or to enjoy in the brewery, along with their craft beers. Really hits the spot after skiing.

Their motto is Thai-ish fried chicken, and let me tell you, they lived up to it! I tried their chicken sandwich and it was incredibly delicious and tender. The flavors were authentic Thai; I also got a side of their Bird Sauce which was perfect for dipping my sandwich and chips. The sauce had fish sauce, Thai chili, lime, and sugar, and they did not compromise on the authenticity at all! It felt like I was eating at a food stall in Bangkok! I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem of a restaurant in this town.

Delicious food. Would have given it 5 stars but all that disposable plastic use?? What a waste. Will never understand how businesses operating in beautiful places can justify not being more environmentally

The fried chicken batter is hard and doesn’t lock the chicken juice, so the chicken is dry.
