Usually I can go to a random bbq house in CO and it won’t disappoint me… not this one… the ribs barely has taste other than the smoke taste. Most of the taste came from the source on it. I guess they didn’t marinate the meat for enough time. Meanwhile the meat was too loose. Out of 6 chicken wings I got 5 drumettes…. I think they service certain groups there…

The worst bbq I have ever eaten. Self service at dine in prices. Wish I would have read the reviews beforehand.

This is the worst BBQ I have ever had. The beer is good, the meal is not. Come for the drinks, but eat elsewhere.

Ordered before I saw the reviews. Yes, it really is THAT BAD. Food was flavorless, overly fatty, expensive, just awful. Only thing edible was the corn bread because it was clearly made from box mix. No service, took a long time, staff unfriendly. Don’t eat here.

If you know how to smoke your own meat, do not expect anything special. Overdone brisket. Over done sausage. Under done ribs that I would bet Liquid Smoke was used on.
Really disappointed for a $75 meal. I hope the beers are better.

We were starving after a full day of skiing and wanted some solid food so we decided to go here since it was part of Highside brewery. Huge mistake. The nachos were basically movie style nachos with store bought guacamole with Velveeta cheese. Movie theatre nachos would have been better and cheaper. The $20+ dollar 1/2 of rack of ribs were way over cooked and smoked, completely inedible. The smoked turkey was basically store bought sliced turkey that they smoked. The Mac and cheese was water down velveeta cheese with barely any shell pasta in it was it was more like a soup. We ended throwing away all the food and money on this meal. Do not go here for food. It’s literally the worse meal we’ve ever had.

Restaurantji Recommends
I saw the reviews beforehand, but decided to take a chance since we're not picky. Unfortunately, everyone is right. This is a brewery that tried adding a resturant and it shows. The BBQ is poor quality. I had the Cali sandwich with mac and cheese. The turkey was good, but the bacon was so hard and dry I couldn't even chew it! The mac was also very bland. My husband loved his pulled pork tacos at least. For the price it's not worth it. To order you go to the bar and when it's ready you go into this back room to pick it up. I don't mind self service, but when the pickup window is right next to the tables, they could easily bring it out. The beer was excellent, but there are no prices listed. Our beers were $7 and $8, which us pretty typical. Side note: there is a Thrift store across the street that has a ton of used winter gear. Highly recommend.

Vibe of the restaurant was great, food not so much, Mac n Cheese cheese tasted like nacho cheese dip for chips. Also forgot one of our plates

Be careful of what they charge you. You order at the bar. They run your credit card on their computer no receipts are given out. I was charged an extra $25 on our meal. I suppose the bar tender is self tipping them self. I really dislike people/business that are dishonest.

Nothing that special about the bbq. The queso was just cheap cheese sauce.

Absolutely one of the worst if not the worst "restaurant" expiriences I've had in my entire life. I honestly would have given the food back and let them keep the money so they knew what absolute trash they were serving, but I was with my son and wife and my son tolerated the Mac and cheese. The meat had to have been at least 2 days old. The sides were 100% canned. The "quesadilla" was store bought tortillas with melted cheese.the end.
I wish I had never gone there, seriously disgusting trash. Oh and out bill was 85 $ for 2 adults and a three year old.
