Ms Roker is a vibrant 87 years old. Not wanting her to stand in line to wait to be seated I asked if she could sit outside while we waited in line.
Before I could complete my request I was rudely shut down simultaneously by two wait staff who said no we don’t seat anyone til 6. Duh I knew the policy thus the request.
Did they hear me? No one asked to be seated, I simply requested that my beloved friend the 87 yr old Mayor of F’sted who has contributed so much to our island be allowed to sit while we waited our turn in line.
The rude rebuff without being heard made me wish that we had more options.
We have allowed businesses and transplants to erase our community.
Any senior with mobility issues should have been extended that courtesy. It is more telling of the refusal to see and recognize us “the locals” as human while we have accepted you but you reject and don’t care to know or accept us,
The point of this long rant be purposeful in who you support. Make wise intentional choices about where you spend your hard earned money.
I don’t frequent Flyers weekly but have patronized the establishment serval times this I fear will be the last.

This used to be our favorite spot on this mountain and we have some amazing memories. But they stopped the waffles during the 2022/23 season and now doesn’t really make it stand out anymore. They had the most incredible waffles ever and made the whole area smell delicious. Service is always great, but man do we miss the waffles…

Great copper mountain hide away off sierra lift area. Great bar dudes and dudettes. Easy spot to warm
For the 2022/23 season they stopped the waffles... that's a disappointment. The food is OK, the location is clearly nice, but we would always go there for the mid-day waffles... now it's not really worth the stop vs going to the base.

Love the new location at the Frederiksted waterfront, you get the sunsets views now, and you are just south of the pier.
I like the fact the restaurant is split into 3 areas, outside, front of the restaurant and back of the restaurant.
It appears the new location has more tables than the original location but Scott still fills the restaurant even during weeknights.
